You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products. </p><p style="text-align: center;">I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection. </p><p style="text-align: center;">When she announced she was coming out with a brand <a href="https://www.instagram.com/roseandbenbeauty/" target="_blank">Rose and Ben Beauty</a> I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjq7udxCle_HV7AJYR59SFq7swILH44AtN_a0EAKjRNYszHRA1_FYIOX1E8g4dlXyuFck84ruu1Fj0kL33QnSpB7wbhP-V2rVVGwyLJxTxj3AWCmTlj_orzU8eomxdnDamrBSDcZ4ErtvkbopctdjU5EWKAC8CLmDD-1v9bUXSuK4AHICbaIqojShwB=s2144" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2144" data-original-width="1763" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjq7udxCle_HV7AJYR59SFq7swILH44AtN_a0EAKjRNYszHRA1_FYIOX1E8g4dlXyuFck84ruu1Fj0kL33QnSpB7wbhP-V2rVVGwyLJxTxj3AWCmTlj_orzU8eomxdnDamrBSDcZ4ErtvkbopctdjU5EWKAC8CLmDD-1v9bUXSuK4AHICbaIqojShwB=s320" width="263" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Aren't these brushes beautiful??</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I only started following her last year so after almost a year of hearing her say "this is a prototype, stay tuned" these brushes were so worth the wait!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">All my brushes I wash them using Dove sensitive skin soap bar and they washed well with that.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://roseandbenbeauty.com/products/blush-brush" target="_blank">C41 Blush Brush</a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhARD85KkyZz6HiTaVc1PjQtmY7fpUYF-cIXb5ArU9fbxKrmhokeBM77oxm0juxYgx4eV9W3UWnCKvWocyiUJp41YQFTUXpsbzNu-CL_wcxEKHDdpwvKogljNCWXpmUIblhlNAiiAELiXjBIVLrR2q_meG1I59NvfwOsliCPNryuXURlJLnqWOKfkaA=s2246" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2246" data-original-width="1080" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhARD85KkyZz6HiTaVc1PjQtmY7fpUYF-cIXb5ArU9fbxKrmhokeBM77oxm0juxYgx4eV9W3UWnCKvWocyiUJp41YQFTUXpsbzNu-CL_wcxEKHDdpwvKogljNCWXpmUIblhlNAiiAELiXjBIVLrR2q_meG1I59NvfwOsliCPNryuXURlJLnqWOKfkaA=s320" width="154" /></a></div><br /> The first brush is a C41 Blush Brush. This makes powder foundation so easy and it looks FLAWLESS!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://roseandbenbeauty.com/products/bronzer-brush" target="_blank">C40 Bronzer Brush</a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgQvVrF8lMr6Ie7jPCzB5kcC6GmjIsTLE0grwepGe6v9rq1zS48EJ4LOm7_gBJ1zZ0k1EXGWiIqxf1zrjreiw2aDp8D46RUW1vhlEtsF-0q7OUzfkfcSQFsMFjyAVG1TXS_tmZlHqHOqbkK93er0TTm-qMMbc_pwreeeLTSXYcGzN1APHCLbnPN5KmV=s2021" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2021" data-original-width="1080" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgQvVrF8lMr6Ie7jPCzB5kcC6GmjIsTLE0grwepGe6v9rq1zS48EJ4LOm7_gBJ1zZ0k1EXGWiIqxf1zrjreiw2aDp8D46RUW1vhlEtsF-0q7OUzfkfcSQFsMFjyAVG1TXS_tmZlHqHOqbkK93er0TTm-qMMbc_pwreeeLTSXYcGzN1APHCLbnPN5KmV=s320" width="171" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This C40 Bronzer brush applies powder bronzer so seamlessly. BEST eyeshadow brush I have ever tried. My blending is at a next level. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">My crease colors look seamless after I finish. I have even gotten compliments on my eye makeup more often since I got this brush. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">You can blend matte shadows in the crease, but also apply you shimmery shadows on your lid.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://roseandbenbeauty.com/products/concealer-foundation-brush" target="_blank">C31 Concealer/Foundation Brush</a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhc76OBf_HvvkXJkOHbSCTEzZwjndcYqK2EJ3Q1NoH3kUUikIqLbZ2snc6gbvaKLNc9tWYksab9SBfaA9f5hH0DJpLOB2oYjXsanRO3DOwcZVIqEsnUx8fyFAfRbn9a7OlHmHosXT2UT_rur8JNjPfVZz4PRHZOqqNhTDwqbDuvHwlEZw5QbP0vm554=s1957" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1957" data-original-width="1080" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhc76OBf_HvvkXJkOHbSCTEzZwjndcYqK2EJ3Q1NoH3kUUikIqLbZ2snc6gbvaKLNc9tWYksab9SBfaA9f5hH0DJpLOB2oYjXsanRO3DOwcZVIqEsnUx8fyFAfRbn9a7OlHmHosXT2UT_rur8JNjPfVZz4PRHZOqqNhTDwqbDuvHwlEZw5QbP0vm554=s320" width="177" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This brush I almost didn't get because I see her mostly use it for eyeshadow bases and foundation to get into small spaces, but I decided let me try it.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I do love using it for my plouise shadow base, but I decided to try it for concealer and it is amazing for that. It blends concealer like a dream! Using a beauty blender it removes some product off your face/under eyes, but with this brush it keeps the coverage of the concealer. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I always saw people blend concealer with a brush and I couldn't get it not be streaky. If you have that issue try this brush. You won't be disappointed.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://roseandbenbeauty.com/products/pointed-liner-brush" target="_blank">E26 Pointed Liner Brush</a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhAAxL8RvCSARBf5eeN-wl3t2hHUaeEVTwQM6LOCbm0QjX1T7icA1MmMVhb5h41q0eRjh9ZRqAXwk3hntIpPZ456x0b9putmizq3rMfxrySoMkg2nTXo5_cjlBwO4YHbgM11A4geeMfJhVZXHl73rIgW_OgF-jX07cscrQqU7b0bs_UgdFInCbz3wgE=s2175" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2175" data-original-width="1080" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhAAxL8RvCSARBf5eeN-wl3t2hHUaeEVTwQM6LOCbm0QjX1T7icA1MmMVhb5h41q0eRjh9ZRqAXwk3hntIpPZ456x0b9putmizq3rMfxrySoMkg2nTXo5_cjlBwO4YHbgM11A4geeMfJhVZXHl73rIgW_OgF-jX07cscrQqU7b0bs_UgdFInCbz3wgE=s320" width="159" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This brush is FANTASTIC! I could never find a brush for a gel liner that was good. I could never get them to work. Until now.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I can do a wing liner with any gel product without any issue. You can also use it for any detail shadow work.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://roseandbenbeauty.com/products/inner-corner-highlight-brush" target="_blank">E27 Inner Corner Highlight Brush</a> </div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEh8HNKfq9LbWRARO7O3giwdWClqEX5xNzLtmtAD9w-SrBOPj0U1ozUe7vUvk98Ge0hhCNHjJCnNfG1kehVE2xoU1bRKAXkTbxCwepjn7zrm--uJrLl3s7nxbaBewF9Nu2KsDIWnJBySVhqlxPDwIBW38uneJMZeOHMAmBX_v-43j5nMUIaTwv5h2a50=s3732" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3732" data-original-width="1792" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEh8HNKfq9LbWRARO7O3giwdWClqEX5xNzLtmtAD9w-SrBOPj0U1ozUe7vUvk98Ge0hhCNHjJCnNfG1kehVE2xoU1bRKAXkTbxCwepjn7zrm--uJrLl3s7nxbaBewF9Nu2KsDIWnJBySVhqlxPDwIBW38uneJMZeOHMAmBX_v-43j5nMUIaTwv5h2a50=s320" width="154" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Lastly, this brush I use it for several things. I use it to create a shadow wing liner, a dark color in the crease, shimmer/glittery shadow on the lid, or a shadow in the inner corner of the eye.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">It blends everything seamlessly. It doesn't grab too much product so you can never mess up what you are doing by overapplying product.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Overall, these brushes have become holy grail brushes for me. I cannot do my makeup without a couple of these everyday. I even want to get them for my kit, but its too much money to buy all of it again.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">These brushes were a little pricey not going to lie and I almost didn't get them I am so glad I bit the bullet and got them. Definitely worth the hype and worth every penny! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I am only missing two brushes from her collection maybe down the line I will get them and if I do I will definitely show you.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I can't wait to see what else she comes out with. Hopefully a foundation brush. We shall see!</div><p></p>LadyPsychehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10035811874886557842noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299971202198013199.post-10521369009370433762021-03-15T10:00:00.007-07:002021-03-15T10:00:06.969-07:00What are BHA's??<p> Hey guys!!!</p><p style="text-align: center;">The other day I spoke about <a href="http://ladypsychebeautygear.blogspot.com/2021/03/what-are-ahas.html" target="_blank">AHA's</a> and the different types of AHA's and now it is BHA's. </p><p style="text-align: center;">BHA's(Beta Hydroxy Acids) can get deeper into the pores to remove dead skin cells and excess sebum. It is oil-soluble so it allows it to penetrate deep into the pores and gently breaks up blockages that clogs your pores. That will help with lessening your acne and less visible pores.</p><p style="text-align: center;">If you have blackheads, on your nose especially, it can help getting rid of them without damaging your skin like the Biore pore strips do. Also prevents new ones from forming.</p><p style="text-align: center;">It could also help with Keratosis Pilaris(KP) in body washes or even body lotions/butters.</p><p style="text-align: center;">BHA's are good for all skin types, but especially oily, acne prone skin.</p><p style="text-align: center;"><b>Salicylic Acid</b></p><p style="text-align: center;">Salicylic Acid is the most well known out of all of them. It helps reduce acne by exfoliating the skin and keeping the pores clear.</p><p style="text-align: center;">It helps with mild acne, blackheads and whiteheads, can help prevent future breakouts. </p><p style="text-align: center;"><b>Tropic Acid, Trethocanic Acid, Willow Bark Extract, and Beta Hydroxibutanoic Acid</b></p><p style="text-align: center;">These acids are Salicylic Acid derivatives and they do the same thing as SA. They are basically a different form of SA. </p><p style="text-align: center;">One very important fact about Salicylic Acid is that it is related to aspirin meaning that it has anti-inflammatory properties that help to calm the skin and minimize the irritation. </p><p style="text-align: center;">Salicylic Acid is a Salicylate, which is why it is related to aspirin, and if you have an allergy to that ingredient you need to avoid Salicylic Acid.</p><p style="text-align: center;">That is all the information I have about BHA's. Just remember if you are using AHA's or BHA's that you MUST wear a sunscreen! You should wear sunscreen regardless, but especially when using a chemical exfoliant.</p><p style="text-align: center;">What are some of your favorite BHA products??? Do you prefer AHA or BHA??</p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: center;"><b><br /></b></p>LadyPsychehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10035811874886557842noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299971202198013199.post-91484045369603464432021-03-12T10:00:00.006-08:002021-03-12T10:00:02.912-08:00What Are AHA's??<p> Hey guys!!!</p><p><br /></p><p style="text-align: center;">AHA's(Alpha Hydroxy Acids) is water-soluble, exfoliates dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, reveals healthy looking skin, and it is suitable for all skin types.</p><p style="text-align: center;">It helps stimulate collagen, hydrates the skin, brightens the skin, helps lessen skin texture, helps with acne scars, signs of sun damage, and dark spots.</p><p style="text-align: center;">There are different types of AHA's out there. </p><p style="text-align: center;"><b>Glycolic Acid</b></p><p style="text-align: center;">Glycolic acid is the most well known and is used in skin care and is also used by a professional in a chemical peel. </p><p style="text-align: center;">It is either used alone in a skincare product or combined with another AHA ingredients at concentrations of 5% and up. It helps to enhance skin's firmness and resilience while softening signs of sun damage. </p><p style="text-align: center;">The size of this acid allows it to penetrate the uppermost layers of the skin to reveal better looking skin. Also it hydrates the skin, and basically helps the skin retain the natural moisture.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Glycolic acid can be derived from sugar cane, but they only use the synthetic form of it because it is easier to stabilize.</p><p style="text-align: center;"><b>Lactic Acid</b></p><p style="text-align: center;">Lactic acid does everything that Glycolic Acid does, but it is bigger in size and it works a little bit slower. This is the second ingredient that is well known. </p><p style="text-align: center;">It is safe for sensitive skin. </p><p style="text-align: center;">Lactic acid can be derived from milk, but they only use the synthetic form of it because it is easier to stabilize. </p><p style="text-align: center;"><b>Malic Acid</b></p><p style="text-align: center;">Malic acid is larger in size than Glycolic and Lactic acid, but it's still able to exfoliate and deliver its benefits. </p><p style="text-align: center;">It works best when combined with other AHA's. You will find it in select leave on exfoliants, and rinse off peels.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Malic acid is derived from apples, but just like the last two only the synthetic form is used because it is easier to stabilize.</p><p style="text-align: center;"><b>Tartaric Acid</b></p><p style="text-align: center;">Tartaric Acid is larger than Malic acid and double in size than Glycolic acid.</p><p style="text-align: center;">It is combined with other AHA's. It functions in helping maintain the pH levels that other AHA's need to do their work. In other formulas, it helps provide more targeted exfoliation.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Tartaric acid is derived from in grapes, but only the synthetic version is used for the same reason as the previous acids.</p><p style="text-align: center;"><b>Citric Acid</b></p><p style="text-align: center;">Citric Acid is usually used in higher concentrations (10% and up) so it will exfoliate the skin, but it is also irritating to the skin. </p><p style="text-align: center;">It is also used in low concentrations in products as an antioxidant as well as pH adjuster. It keeps formulas within the perfect pH range that products need to be in so they can be effective yet gentle.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Citric Acid is derived from various citrus fruits, but is also the synthetic form is used for the same reason as the others.</p><p style="text-align: center;"><b>Mandelic Acid</b></p><p style="text-align: center;">Mandelic acid is the biggest acid AHA which means it slowly penetrates into the skin, but that makes it very safe for sensitive skin.</p><p style="text-align: center;">If you have dealt with irritation from the other acids from this list, this is the best one for you to use.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Mandelic acid is derived from almonds, but only the synthetic form is used for the same reasons as the others. </p><p style="text-align: center;">Those are the different types of AHA's out there. </p><p style="text-align: center;">Just make sure whenever you use an AHA in your skin care routine, always always always use sunscreen. Your skin is more likely to burn from the sun when you use these ingredients!</p><p style="text-align: center;">Do you use AHA's? Which one is your favorite to have in your skin care routine? Favorite products??</p><p style="text-align: center;"> </p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p>LadyPsychehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10035811874886557842noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299971202198013199.post-53195503419318555232021-03-11T10:00:00.056-08:002021-03-11T10:00:06.577-08:00What is the difference between Chemical & Physical Exfoliants??<p> Hey guys!!</p><p style="text-align: center;">What is exfoliation for?</p><p style="text-align: center;">Your skin regenerates every 28 days or so and sun exposure and aging slows that process down. That is where exfoliation is key. It removes dead skin cells, brighten your skin complexion, and fades acne scars. </p><p style="text-align: center;">Getting rid of your dead skin cells is very important because it can help prevent bacteria, dirt, and sweat from getting stuck underneath the skin's surface. It can also help prevent and treat acne and inflamed pores. </p><p style="text-align: center;">What type of exfoliations are there?</p><p style="text-align: center;">There are two types of exfoliations. Physical and Chemical.</p><p style="text-align: center;"><b>Physical Exfoliation</b></p><p style="text-align: center;">Physical exfoliation is my least favorite and I do not recommend. Here is why.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Physical exfoliant products uses micro-sized grains, beads, and particles to remove dead skin cells. Basically anything that scrubs at your skin like tiny granules. It is made of coffee grounds, walnut shell powder, sugar, rice, and salt.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Other examples of physical exfoliation are a cleansing brush, a konjac sponge, a cloth, and a pumice stone. </p><p style="text-align: center;">This type of exfoliation is very harsh on sensitive skin and will irritate any acne that you have on your skin, cause acne scars, and irritate your rosacea.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Using physical exfoliation it is be very unpredictable, uneven, and very abrasive. If you are not careful it can tear your skin. </p><p style="text-align: center;">One type of physical exfoliation that I can agree with as long as a professional is doing it is Microdermabrasion. It is a minimal, invasive procedure to renew overall skin tone and texture. It can improve the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scars, melasma, and etc.</p><p style="text-align: center;">The only way I may use physical exfoliation would be on the body since it isn't as sensitive as my skin, but I still hesitate because knowing me I am not gentle. I could still irritate my skin.</p><p style="text-align: center;"><b>Chemical Exfoliation</b></p><p style="text-align: center;">This is my favorite type of exfoliation. </p><p style="text-align: center;">Chemical Exfoliation removes dead skin cells by dissolving dirt and oil in the pores, and breaking up the bond that holds the dead skin cells to healthy skin. </p><p style="text-align: center;">Two types of Chemical Exfoliation is AHA(Alpha Hydroxy Acids) and BHA(Beta Hydroxy Acids). </p><p style="text-align: center;">AHA's includes Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Malic Acid, Tartaric Acid, Citric Acid, and Mandelic Acid. BHA's include Salicylic Acid, Tropic Acid, Trethocanic Acid, and Beta Hydroxibutanoic Acid.</p><p style="text-align: center;">AHA's exfoliates the uppermost layer of the skin. By using it, your skin will be more hydrated, more refined that it looks smooth, fresher skin, and overtime become firmer.</p><p style="text-align: center;">BHA's can get deeper into the pores to remove dead skin cells and excess sebum. </p><p style="text-align: center;">With chemical exfoliation you need to start only once a week. After a few weeks you can increase to one more day and keep going till you are using it everyday if you desire to do it everyday.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Also you must wear sunscreen the next day because it makes your skin be more sensitive to the sun and can cause damage.</p><p style="text-align: center;">I only use it twice a week and I feel that is good enough for me.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Next couple of posts I am going to go more in depth about AHA's and BHA's.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Which do you like to do? Physical or Chemical exfoliation? What are some of your favorite products??</p>LadyPsychehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10035811874886557842noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299971202198013199.post-75744528343030643502021-03-04T10:00:00.117-08:002021-03-04T10:00:04.963-08:00The INKEY List Caffeine Eye Cream & Heritage Store Rosewater Spray<p> Hey guys!!!</p><p style="text-align: center;">These are the last couple of products from my skincare routine.</p><p style="text-align: center;">As for eye cream, a lot of people have different opinions about eye creams. Is it necessary or not in a skincare routine??</p><p style="text-align: center;">Honestly, for me it is and it isn't. Eye cream does have some different ingredients directed at the eye area, but you can use your moisturizer if you can't afford to buy another product. I love using eye cream especially when I am doing my makeup so my concealer can look good.</p><p style="text-align: center;">The INKEY List Caffeine Eye Cream</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYgoiFcJnwxR4U5io2lA6ysPCR5dRLmGoZEQIYm1I2IKBjbkpLjUGLi6wjp_bwRlbezCVYfxKsxLBSRufQoiok6A1YNn8zl1jffgcNIiDQeY9dYyspc1SqaMhnfBL3ytyTvo36gSK26EI/s1824/IMG_20210219_135509-01-01.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1824" data-original-width="1726" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYgoiFcJnwxR4U5io2lA6ysPCR5dRLmGoZEQIYm1I2IKBjbkpLjUGLi6wjp_bwRlbezCVYfxKsxLBSRufQoiok6A1YNn8zl1jffgcNIiDQeY9dYyspc1SqaMhnfBL3ytyTvo36gSK26EI/s320/IMG_20210219_135509-01-01.jpg" /></a></div><p></p><p style="text-align: center;">I have tried many eye creams and I have had favorites, but after learning about ingredients my favorites list is basically none.</p><p style="text-align: center;">This eye cream is a gel consistency, blends into the eye cream, and its only a little hydrating. I don't really get puffy eyes so I can't really test that claim. I can have my mom test it later on I will update this later once she tries it.</p><p style="text-align: center;">I use this right after toner. I use a a pea size amount on my ring finger, and massage it on my under eyes and my eyelids. Don't forget your eyelids. They can get dry too! </p><p style="text-align: center;">Ingredients that stood out: Squalane(hydrating), Glycine Soja(Soybean) Extract(skin smoothing and and softening), Hyaluronic acid(draws moisture into the skin), Caffeine(reduces the look of puffiness), and Matrixyl 3000(a peptide that helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles).</p><p style="text-align: center;">I wouldn't repurchase this product because it wasn't anything that really stood out. It wasn't as moisturizing as I was hoping it would be.</p><p style="text-align: center;">If you are interested in trying this product you can get it from <a href="https://www.sephora.com/product/caffeine-eye-cream-P443840?icid2=bestsellers:p443840:product" target="_blank">Sephora</a>, and <a href="https://www.theinkeylist.com/products/caffeine-eye-cream?_pos=1&_psq=caffeine%20eye%20&_ss=e&_v=1.0" target="_blank">The INKEY List</a> online.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Lastly, toner.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Another topic that a lot of people have different opinions. Is it necessary for a skincare routine??</p><p style="text-align: center;">For me, I believe you do need one. You can use toner as your exfoliation step, for more hydration, and balancing your PH of your skin. </p><p style="text-align: center;">If you are using it as a way to remove any last bit of makeup that you missed then sorry to say you are not using the best makeup remover for you. This step is not for removing makeup. It is to hydrate or exfoliate your skin.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Heritage Store Rosewater Spray & Rosewater & Glycerin Hydrating Facial Mist</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSu84X6davYqu1LNOMojxrZlv64FeADr735XubwFGgqwAHvY1PQ6PUn0QPU4JNQZ_KjQX8u8tMADoO0cbPDiUGf2emscJeU4VSdLIJ8lnjU5Pqy008oyO_UoSivIp5_TNOFkZRwtM6NH8/s1955/IMG_20210219_135524__01-01-01.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1823" data-original-width="1955" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSu84X6davYqu1LNOMojxrZlv64FeADr735XubwFGgqwAHvY1PQ6PUn0QPU4JNQZ_KjQX8u8tMADoO0cbPDiUGf2emscJeU4VSdLIJ8lnjU5Pqy008oyO_UoSivIp5_TNOFkZRwtM6NH8/s320/IMG_20210219_135524__01-01-01.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p style="text-align: center;">When I first tried this product I actually used the <a href="https://www.ulta.com/rosewater-spray?productId=pimprod2006821" target="_blank">Rosewater Spray</a>. </p><p style="text-align: center;">This product is to calm the redness, tone, and soothe the skin. </p><p style="text-align: center;">It only has two ingredients: Rosa Damascena(Hydroessential Rose) Oil(soothe and soften sensitive skin), and Vor-Mag Water(water that has been vortexed and magnetized to raise the energy to a higher vibration).</p><p style="text-align: center;">When I used this product my skin felt refreshed, and soothed.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Target made a mistake when I ordered online and they sent me the <a href="https://www.ulta.com/rosewater-glycerin-hydrating-facial-mist?productId=pimprod2021739" target="_blank">Rosewater & Glycerin</a>.</p><p style="text-align: center;">This product is completely different to the Rosewater Spray. It is very hydrating and gives your skin a healthy glow. You can also use it to set your makeup, so it stays all day(haven't tested this claim yet).</p><p style="text-align: center;">It only has a couple of ingredients: Glycerin(locks in moisture), Vor-Mag Water(water that has been vortexed and magnetized to raise the energy to a higher vibration), and Rosa Damascena(Hydroessential Rose) Oil(soothe and soften sensitive skin).</p><p style="text-align: center;">Which one do I like best? I honestly like both. If I am at the store and I can't find the spray I can get the glycerin one and be ok with it. They are basically the same just one is glowy and one is not. </p><p style="text-align: center;">I do notice that when I use the glycerin one, the moisturizer I apply afterwards blends better than when I use the spray one.</p><p style="text-align: center;">I use this product after I double cleanse.</p><p style="text-align: center;">I would definitely repurchase either one. It is holy grail.</p><p style="text-align: center;">You can get these at Ulta, <a href="https://www.target.com/p/heritage-store-rosewater-glycerin-8-fl-oz/-/A-76545833#lnk=sametab" target="_blank">Target</a>, and <a href="https://heritagestore.com/products/rosewater-glycerin-w-atomizer?variant=31265541914670" target="_blank">Heritage Store</a> online.</p><p style="text-align: center;">That is the end of my skincare routine!</p><p style="text-align: center;">Tip: always patch test your products behind your ear before applying it to your skin. This will show you if you have a reaction to any product.</p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><p></p>LadyPsychehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10035811874886557842noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299971202198013199.post-42877057594598012242021-03-03T10:00:00.047-08:002021-03-03T18:23:48.940-08:00CoTz Face Prime & Protect Tinted SPF 40<p> Hey guys!!</p><p style="text-align: center;">Now for the most important product in my skincare routine. My sunscreen. </p><p style="text-align: center;">I have been looking for my perfect sunscreen for a while and there was a lot of misses for me. I would break out sometimes the day I use it or a couple days after. </p><p style="text-align: center;">I actually almost gave up in finding a sunscreen because I kept spending money and finding nothing that worked for me. After I spoke to <a href="https://www.instagram.com/madihearts/" target="_blank">MadiHearts </a>during a consult she recommended this sunscreen to me.</p><p style="text-align: center;">CoTz Face Prime & Protect Tinted SPF 40</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQql_fDJg5wHl1JT6xsumtk2ZhvxEDr0NelGXBootKJfZkdGuqzwNue841A-V3skCBDcGbZlIkADXQmPG9h1bsmwSbbNw5W6GALhQmUcRu0_RM_QEOBIBnKXefHHao-tA58HptkMW0uw4/s2029/IMG_20210219_135615-02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1814" data-original-width="2029" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQql_fDJg5wHl1JT6xsumtk2ZhvxEDr0NelGXBootKJfZkdGuqzwNue841A-V3skCBDcGbZlIkADXQmPG9h1bsmwSbbNw5W6GALhQmUcRu0_RM_QEOBIBnKXefHHao-tA58HptkMW0uw4/s320/IMG_20210219_135615-02.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">As I mentioned in my previous sunscreens <a href="http://ladypsychebeautygear.blogspot.com/2021/02/chemical-or-physical-sunscreen.html" target="_blank">post</a>, I realized that for my skin type physical/mineral sunscreens are best for me. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> The brand CoTz is reef friendly, water resistant, preservative free, no animal testing, mineral protection, and gluten free.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">What intrigued me about this product was that it is a sunscreen and a primer in one(I don't believe primers are necessary). I tested the sunscreen out first and after a couple weeks I decided to apply makeup on top. My skin looked flawless! My skin, even with makeup, had not looked this good in the longest time. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The texture of this sunscreen is very thick, whipped mousse-like, and silicone-based. It blends out translucent and it sets to a matte finish. Once the product sets my skin feels so soft.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLqiNk0JZKtXrquiF0Rmkcx4Z8IW7bQSaUMR4kqtkcyuPjfe72H-m1r0PIPNS5lmavTP1mfp-YLv61K4yzW3u733cVlK6YpwaLzrZwKircobKm_RqdteEUbCkqvdAesZW1Gt1SkBWon3A/s2048/IMG_20210302_154457-01.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1617" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLqiNk0JZKtXrquiF0Rmkcx4Z8IW7bQSaUMR4kqtkcyuPjfe72H-m1r0PIPNS5lmavTP1mfp-YLv61K4yzW3u733cVlK6YpwaLzrZwKircobKm_RqdteEUbCkqvdAesZW1Gt1SkBWon3A/s320/IMG_20210302_154457-01.jpg" width="320" /></a></div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Since it sets into a matte finish I don't get too oily throughout the day. It layers really well when I reapply more after a few hours. They recommend every 2 hours.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The tint doesn't add coverage, but my skin feels smooth, soft, and makeup applies beautifully on top.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Ingredients that stood out: Active Ingredients: Zinc Oxide (3.8%), and Titanium Dioxide(8%). </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Finally, after the longest time, after using this sunscreen for exactly a month, I can say that this is my holy grail sunscreen. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">If you are interested in trying this product it is available on <a href="https://cotzskincare.com/product/cotz-face-prime-protect-tinted-spf-40/" target="_blank">CoTz</a>, and <a href="https://www.ulta.com/face-prime-protect-tinted-spf-40?productId=xlsImpprod4190153" target="_blank">Ulta</a> online.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">What are some of you guys favorite sunscreens??</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><br /><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p>LadyPsychehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10035811874886557842noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299971202198013199.post-51707922319509320062021-03-02T10:00:00.030-08:002021-03-02T10:00:11.168-08:00The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10%+HA & 100% Plant-Derived Squalane<p> Hey guys!!!</p><p style="text-align: center;">Next couple of products from my <a href="http://ladypsychebeautygear.blogspot.com/2021/02/my-updated-skincare-routine.html" target="_blank">skincare routine</a> are from The Ordinary.</p><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3D8Q4eTcs_QLRwmWpERPqJWgYtJxz9tZynDFutOWYA5a9bw4oBLqHJYW4DQErV7VcA_lQFOjn373DvK0nAj_1Ie1EME68DXBa3BuhYo3jA5KZMqWiWU7wAO511CqOY_q2kWFBNIYL1yc/s2048/IMG_20210219_140014-01.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1645" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3D8Q4eTcs_QLRwmWpERPqJWgYtJxz9tZynDFutOWYA5a9bw4oBLqHJYW4DQErV7VcA_lQFOjn373DvK0nAj_1Ie1EME68DXBa3BuhYo3jA5KZMqWiWU7wAO511CqOY_q2kWFBNIYL1yc/s320/IMG_20210219_140014-01.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">For a long time I was afraid to use these type of oil products because before the ones I tried out broke me out so bad. After trying these I realized that the oils I tried before were filled with bad ingredients and very long ingredients list. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The longer the ingredient list the more chance of irritation. The recent one was the Paula's Choice 2% BHA toner and I was noticing that one was drying me skin out and making my skin feel sensitive after almost a year of using it</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I decided to go with Mandelic Acid since it is the most gentle exfoliant there is. It is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid and it is larger in molecular weight. The large size allows the MA to penetrate the skin more slowly which makes it very gentle and good for all skin types.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">(in a future post I will go more in depth about exfoliants)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I use this two times a week. I apply it right after toner. I let my toner dry and I drop a few drops on my hand and apply it all over and wait a couple minutes before applying my moisturizer.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I love the thin consistency and how quickly it absorbs into the skin once you apply it. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Ingredients that stood out: Mandelic Acid(exfoliant), Hyaluronic acid(draws in moisture), and Tasmannia Lanceolata Fruit/Leaf Extract(anti-inflammatory, & calms irritations).</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Tip: Always wear sunscreen after using any type of exfoliant or retinol. Your skin will be more sensitive in the sunlight and will cause burning.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">If you want to try this you can get it on <a href="https://theordinary.deciem.com/us/rdn-mandelic-acid-10pct-ha-30ml.html" target="_blank">Deciem</a>, <a href="https://www.ulta.com/mandelic-acid-10-ha?productId=pimprod2009251" target="_blank">Ulta</a>, and <a href="https://www.sephora.com/product/mandelic-acid-10-ha-P442758?skuId=2210623&icid2=products%20grid:p442758:product" target="_blank">Sephora</a> online.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">100% Plant-Derived Squalane</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9N9nt5Kyf-pz7WQuNi-RD8MRyYPHoJWpIW4zKn0aVv3f-MrE-R2j-l5_UgbNCmKOgEf22QWtDdnlOL9RvGaoQvDprPHVDSuw5qe4CO5VcIwPnohe5P1TCVnSxYYwZWsvpCZK7Uqk-ISU/s1843/IMG_20210219_135714-01.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1823" data-original-width="1843" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9N9nt5Kyf-pz7WQuNi-RD8MRyYPHoJWpIW4zKn0aVv3f-MrE-R2j-l5_UgbNCmKOgEf22QWtDdnlOL9RvGaoQvDprPHVDSuw5qe4CO5VcIwPnohe5P1TCVnSxYYwZWsvpCZK7Uqk-ISU/s320/IMG_20210219_135714-01.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Like I said before, I tried many oils and they all broke me out so I swore to never use any types of oils ever again. <a href="https://www.instagram.com/madihearts/" target="_blank">MadiHearts</a> suggested me to try this product so I did and no regrets. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">What I love about this product is that Squalane is the only ingredient!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Squalane can prevent loss of hydration and keeps your skin hydrated. I use this a few minutes after moisturizer. I use two pumps, I rub my palms together, apply it onto dry skin, and I rub it into my face and neck until it breaks down makeup/skincare. Gently massage it for 1-2 minutes, wet my hands, and keep massaging for another 1-2 minutes. </p><p style="text-align: center;">The oil will turn white once you apply water to your skin. It is emulsifying! Once I finish massaging the product, I will wash it off thoroughly and I am done with this step of my skincare routine.</p><p style="text-align: center;">This product doesn't leave a film on my skin after I wash it off. </p><p style="text-align: center;">It removes all of my makeup, my waterproof mascara, and even waterproof/water resistant sunscreen.</p><p style="text-align: center;">You can get this product on <a href="https://www.amazon.com/ROHTO-Hadalabo-Gokujun-Cleansing-200ml/dp/B004OQHZ2M/ref=sr_1_2?crid=29HF2O9V1Y7KB&dchild=1&keywords=hada+labo+cleansing+oil&qid=1614483507&sprefix=hada+la%2Caps%2C200&sr=8-2" target="_blank">Amazon</a> or <a href="https://www.stylevana.com/en_US/rohto-mentholatum-hada-labo-gokujyun-oil-cleansing-japan-version-200ml.html?sonid=62398&gclid=Cj0KCQiA-OeBBhDiARIsADyBcE55phb4Py3h98Tue4n_R8Bv3lxGP2sBtAPG-7fih8a0ludCb5f0kEIaAqi4EALw_wcB" target="_blank">Stylevana</a> if you guys are interested in trying this out.</p><p style="text-align: center;">This was a holy grail product, but I am looking into using products that don't contain PEG's. I might explain in a future post if I can find enough information about those type of ingredients. </p><p style="text-align: center;">Now for ingredients that stood out to me: it is fragrance free, two different forms of hyaluronic acid, olive fruit oil, and jojoba seed oil. </p><p style="text-align: center;">Should I go more in depth with ingredients or just name the ones that stood out to me??</p><p style="text-align: center;">What is your favorite product to remove your makeup??</p>LadyPsychehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10035811874886557842noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299971202198013199.post-71634462946865280392021-02-27T17:25:00.003-08:002021-03-01T16:52:44.385-08:00My Updated SkinCare Routine<p> Hey guys!! </p><p style="text-align: center;">Finally, after years since my last <a href="http://ladypsychebeautygear.blogspot.com/2014/01/my-skin-care-routine.html" target="_blank">post</a> about this.....</p><p style="text-align: center;">My Updated Skincare Routine!</p><p style="text-align: center;">Ever since that post about my skincare routine A LOT has changed and my opinions on skincare has changed. Physical or Chemical Sunscreen? What is the difference between the two??</p><p style="text-align: center;">Physical Sunscreen</p><p style="text-align: center;"></p><p style="text-align: center;"></p><ol><li>This Sunscreen is like a shield, it sits on top of the skin, and reflects the sun's rays.</li><li>The active ingredients are Zinc Oxide and/or Titanium Dioxide.</li><li>It is best for sensitive skin types.</li><li>It is a mineral based sunscreen.</li><li>This formulation tends to leave a white cast, but there are some that will not do that.</li><li>It is a thicker texture so it needs more effort to rub in.</li><li>Safe for babies and pregnancy.</li><li>Can rub off easily so reapplication is definitely necessary.</li><li>It becomes effective right away after application.</li><li>It can be heavy under makeup because of the thick texture.</li></ol><p></p><p></p><p style="text-align: center;"></p><p style="text-align: center;"></p><div style="text-align: center;">Chemical Sunscreen</div><p></p><p></p><p style="text-align: center;"></p><p style="text-align: center;"></p><ol><li>This Sunscreen works like a sponge meaning it absorbs the sun's rays into the skin, converts the rays into heat, and releases them from the body.</li><li>This formulation is easier to rub into the skin without leaving a white cast.</li><li>The active ingredients are Oxybenzone, Avobenzone, Octisalate, Octocrylene, Homosalate, and Octinoxate. </li><li>It is a thinner, spreadable texture.</li><li>It is reef safe which means that it is safe for the environment.</li><li>It becomes effective in 20 minutes after application</li><li>It can be irritating to the skin and can sting your eyes if any gets in them.</li><li>It can clog pores and can increase breakouts on acne prone skin.</li></ol><p style="text-align: center;">You can choose whichever one you like as long as you use it daily and reapply throughout the day. My favorite sunscreen of the moment is the <a href="https://www.ulta.com/face-prime-protect-tinted-spf-40?productId=xlsImpprod4190153" target="_blank">Face Prime and Protect Tinted SPF 40</a> and it looks good underneath makeup.</p>Those are the differences between those two types of Sunscreen. Which one do you think you will consider in trying?? <p></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p></p>LadyPsychehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10035811874886557842noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299971202198013199.post-46145126435521807302021-02-25T20:07:00.000-08:002021-02-25T20:07:03.175-08:00Sunscreen! Why is it Important? <p> Hey guys!!!</p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="text-align: center;"> I have a question for you.....</span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="text-align: center;"> Do you wear your sunscreen??</span></p><p style="text-align: center;">If yes, Excellent. You are doing the best thing for your skin.</p><p style="text-align: center;">If not, why? What is the reason?</p><p style="text-align: center;">Sunscreen is the most important step in your skincare routine. If you don't use it the rest of the routine will not matter. There are many benefits to using a sunscreen.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Before I explain why you should wear a sunscreen you should know....</p><p style="text-align: center;">The sun has two types of harmful rays, UVA and UVB. UVA penetrates deep into the skin and causes long term skin damage, aging, and wrinkles. UVB causes sunburn and turns your skin red. </p><p style="text-align: center;">You MUST wear your sunscreen every. single. day. Rain or Shine. When it is cloudy outside the sun's rays are stronger. Up to 80% of the rays can pass through the clouds. If there is snow on the ground the sun's rays can reflect up to 80% of UV rays increasing the risk of sun damage. Finally, the higher the altitude, the greater the UV exposure.</p><p style="text-align: center;"></p><ol><li>One of the most important reasons is that it lowers your risk for skin cancer. Skin Cancer is one of the most common form of cancer in the United States. By using sunscreen everyday, you cut your risk for cancer in half.</li><li>Applying sunscreen everyday also prevents premature aging. Unfortunately, once you get sun damage from the UV rays it causes photoaging of the skin. It means discoloration, and a breakdown of collagen, which contributes to lines, sagging, and wrinkles. </li><li>Sunscreen will also help maintain an even skin tone. It will prevent discoloration and dark spots from forming due to sun damage. People with darker skin are more susceptible to hyperpigmentation.</li><li>Sunscreen prevents sun sensitivity. People with sun sensitivity conditions, such as lupus and rosacea, when they are exposed to UV rays it can lead to redness, burning to the skin, and overall severity of the conditions. </li><li> If you have acne, you should still be wearing sunscreen. It will not get rid of your acne, but it will help prevent acne scars from forming. (For a while I couldn't the perfect sunscreen so now I have a few post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation so trust me.)</li><li>The UV rays can damage your skin's blood vessel walls which will cause them to thin. Because of the thinning it will leave the appearance of bruising or bleeding. </li></ol><p></p><p style="text-align: center;">When you are looking for your perfect sunscreen make sure you are getting SPF 30 or higher and most importantly make sure you are applying enough. You should apply at least two fingers worth of sunscreen or more and you must reapply every couple of hours. Don't forget your ears and neck! (All over the body too if anything is exposed)</p><p style="text-align: center;">Another thing to keep in mind when in search of the sunscreen make sure that on the bottle it says "Broad Spectrum." This will let you know that it will protect you from both UVA and UVB rays.</p><p style="text-align: center;">What can be done if you wear makeup? Well, some people reapply their sunscreen on top of their makeup with their fingers carefully or you use a powder with sunscreen and touch up. Another option is a setting spray with sunscreen in it. Unfortunately, with the powder and the spray you can never be sure you applied it evenly or enough, but it is better than nothing. </p><p style="text-align: center;">Spray sunscreens may seem easier to apply, but when you are trying to spray, it will apply very uneven and will not be effective in protecting you. It is also bad for the environment. </p><p style="text-align: center;">Lastly, don't forget your lips. There are lip balms with sunscreen in them. </p><p style="text-align: center;">The most important thing to do at the end of the day is you must remove your sunscreen with a double cleansing method. A cleansing oil or cleansing balm will properly remove the water resistant sunscreen and following it with a water based cleanser.</p><p style="text-align: center;">What are some of you guys favorite sunscreens??? Do you prefer physical or chemical sunscreens??</p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p>LadyPsychehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10035811874886557842noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299971202198013199.post-59655549426734433292021-02-07T20:52:00.000-08:002021-02-07T20:52:30.435-08:00Patrick Ta Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush<p> Hey guys!!</p><p style="text-align: center;">If you are into makeup trends you may know that cream products are a huge right now. Unfortunately, majority of them have ingredients that my skin will not like. I have been looking around for a while to find a product that doesn't clog my pores or irritate my skin. </p><p style="text-align: center;">I kept seeing <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPXhP-T9ROJ8luLezbGvvhQ" target="_blank">Babsbeauty</a> and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/MakeupByCheryl" target="_blank">MakeupbyCheryl</a> on YouTube always talking about how amazing the <a href="https://www.sephora.com/product/patrick-ta-major-headlines-cream-powder-blush-duo-P458747?skuId=2363836" target="_blank">Patrick Ta Double-Take Crème & Powder Blushes</a> are. I decided to look into the ingredients and this one was the first one that doesn't have any type of oils or any fragranced ingredients in the formula.</p><p style="text-align: center;">During the Sephora VIB Sale I decided to treat myself and purchase the blush in the shade "Do We Know Her?" It is a very beautiful peachy nude.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaunwkuBaOjHKEPhLYXcoX1jQIIzjAzXaVQ-yCrATle1jjOfIL9sxsgks-SIiE94YUu891-Q3G5U58_EAXEZPEq4IBXhk3qFbeMj72isgQ1Ia0RctcRA87YosoGlwiYldOphHBEFvGjvQ/s2048/IMG_20210207_143624__01+%25281%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1792" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaunwkuBaOjHKEPhLYXcoX1jQIIzjAzXaVQ-yCrATle1jjOfIL9sxsgks-SIiE94YUu891-Q3G5U58_EAXEZPEq4IBXhk3qFbeMj72isgQ1Ia0RctcRA87YosoGlwiYldOphHBEFvGjvQ/s320/IMG_20210207_143624__01+%25281%2529.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYX42hoNiEvR0RB5M7lgMImMfe74gbMjhAMGoaIopJf7ag-dNEOAYx91U9A0RI6ocW4nZWcgYDgXGAFznLW5vr9J4EQnVzP9SOOFoponrBlyamIzu2rGizIjkxn_F0rdVwFBUDS28_wsw/s2048/IMG_20210207_143840__01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1156" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYX42hoNiEvR0RB5M7lgMImMfe74gbMjhAMGoaIopJf7ag-dNEOAYx91U9A0RI6ocW4nZWcgYDgXGAFznLW5vr9J4EQnVzP9SOOFoponrBlyamIzu2rGizIjkxn_F0rdVwFBUDS28_wsw/s320/IMG_20210207_143840__01.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjo3rkqIRzlFATL0Jk_A8Qle-O6ZTNTjqVaWdAYhS_UMzioTRzug9c3AAiDuToH_a_cKa04UvwWlG98qV6H8BED-yIdR8X6jUEiiMNMHoBsnJ8EPsArIXa6xdxq6c8V9gJssrk5-vNHDCA/s2048/IMG_20210207_144213__01-01_20210207224748489.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1558" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjo3rkqIRzlFATL0Jk_A8Qle-O6ZTNTjqVaWdAYhS_UMzioTRzug9c3AAiDuToH_a_cKa04UvwWlG98qV6H8BED-yIdR8X6jUEiiMNMHoBsnJ8EPsArIXa6xdxq6c8V9gJssrk5-vNHDCA/s320/IMG_20210207_144213__01-01_20210207224748489.jpg" /></a></div><br /><p style="text-align: center;">First, I tried the powder side on it own. It was gorgeous on the cheeks and it faded a little bit by the end of the day, but it was it still visible. </p><p style="text-align: center;">Then, I tried the crème side on its own and I was BLOWN away. I didn't think it was going to be dewy because it didn't have any oils in the ingredients list like most cream blushes do. I was so wrong. I applied the crème on top of a set and powdered face. My cheeks were so glowy that I didn't even apply highlighter. I was more impressed to see that by the end of the day the blush was still on my cheeks. </p><p style="text-align: center;">Lastly, I tried them together. I applied the crème first and then the powder on top and it wasn't my favorite way to apply it. Next time I did it the way Patrick Ta uses it and that was way better. He applies the powder first and then the crème on top. </p><p style="text-align: center;">This product is my holy grail blush. I love it so much that I actually want to give away the rest of my blushes in my collection and only have these blushes. He has 4 shades total at Sephora so I intend to buy them all in the future.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Overall, this product is pigmented, blendable, and very long lasting. If you only use the crème side you can still apply it on top of a set face without disrupting the makeup underneath. </p>LadyPsychehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10035811874886557842noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299971202198013199.post-69139067647514768302021-02-05T21:42:00.000-08:002021-02-05T21:42:01.348-08:00Online Skincare Consultations!<p> Hey guys!!</p><p style="text-align: center;">I mentioned before that I am a Licensed Esthetician and unfortunately due to this pandemic I haven't been able to get a job in the field or do services in my home. Thanks to <a href="https://www.instagram.com/madihearts/" target="_blank">MadiHearts</a> on IG she gave me the idea on how to be able to bring in some income. </p><p style="text-align: center;">I want to be able to do skincare consultations online since I can't do them in person. I will charge $25 for the consultation. You can send me your payment via PayPal. Once you reach out you will set up an appointment, and you will pay so I can hold your spot. </p><p style="text-align: center;">My recommendations will be very affordable. Nothing that I recommend will be more than $30-$40.</p><p style="text-align: center;">I will ask you for your skin type and skin concerns(if you have concerns like cystic acne or any skin conditions it will be best to go to a Dermatologist). Also what you are trying to achieve with your skincare. I will want to know what your complete skin care products are and I will let you know what I think about the ingredients in those products and what could be irritating your skin. </p><p style="text-align: center;">After talking about the products you are using I will let you know better alternatives to what you are using. I will be recommending fragrance free options.</p><p style="text-align: center;">You will be free to ask me any questions you have about different products and ingredients that you have. No question is a dumb question.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Do keep this in mind though. I can't guarantee that everything I recommend will work for you which is why I will give you a couple options from each category so you can choose which one will work for you. </p><p style="text-align: center;">When you try new skincare products use 1 new product at a time so you can see how your skin will react. Once you give it a week or so then incorporate the next product. </p><p style="text-align: center;">One way to know if a skincare product will not work for you is if you feel a burning sensation and get a reaction. When you get that definitely stop using the product.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Most importantly, skincare will NOT work overnight. You have to give your skin several weeks, a month, and even two months to see changes in your skin. </p><p style="text-align: center;">If you are interested in updating your skincare routine, just email me at theladypsycheesthetics@yahoo.com if you have any questions about anything and we can set up everything. </p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p>LadyPsychehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10035811874886557842noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299971202198013199.post-48312688430761093252020-10-07T18:45:00.000-07:002020-10-07T18:45:41.015-07:00Why Do I Avoid Fragrance In My Products??<p> Hey guys!!!</p><p style="text-align: center;">As I have stated before in a previous post, I don't use skin care and makeup products with fragrance. Why you may ask? I was trying so many popular skin care products that would help acne prone and combination skin and I would notice that at first products would work. After a while it would stop working and break me out. It would be a repeated cycle and I had enough.</p><p style="text-align: center;">As for makeup, I started noticing more and more brands starting coming out with products that contained fragrance. Like for example, a bronzer. Why do you need your bronzer to smell good? Is that really necessary? All I need for my bronzer to do is blend well and make me look bronzed. Don't you? One time I got a L'Oreal eyeshadow product that had a peach scent and I broke out on my crease. Ever since I pay attention to ingredients in makeup products.</p><p style="text-align: center;">After a couple of years of struggling with my skin, cousin introduced me into the world of fragrance free products and after doing some research I realized that fragrances in products are very irritating to the skin and even if it doesn't show on your skin right away it could affect it in the future.</p><p style="text-align: center;">What are some fragrance ingredients you should look out for? You should look for the word FRAGRANCE/PARFUM and any essential oils. Here are some other examples:</p><p style="text-align: center;"></p><ol><li>Lemon Fruit Extract (citrus limon)</li><li>Linanool</li><li>Cinnamal</li><li>Limonene</li><li>Geraniol</li><li>Eugenol</li><li>Lavender Oil (lavandula angustifolia)</li><li>Rose Flower Extract (rose damascena)</li><li>Bergamot Oil (citrus bergamia)</li><li>Ylang-Ylang Oil </li><li>Lime (citrus aurantifolia or citrus medica)</li><li>Orange (citrus sinesis)</li><li>Tangerine (citrus tangerine)</li><li>Peppermint (mentha piperita)</li><li>Spearmint (mentha spicata)</li><li>Eucalyptus</li><li>Cinnamon (cinnamomum)</li></ol><div>There are more irritating ingredients out there for sure I will update the list as soon as I find more.</div><div><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">This is not only for people struggle with acne. This is also for you guys who struggle with eczema, rosacea, and many more. You can aggravate a lot of skin conditions with fragrant products. </div><div><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Now I will end it by saying if your products with fragrance works for you then keep using it. I just wanted to spread some awareness for those who struggle with sensitive, acne prone skin and you have spent a lot of money on products and nothing has worked.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Most importantly, if this still doesn't help your skin issue and you are able to, you should visit a dermatologist. </div><p></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p>LadyPsychehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10035811874886557842noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299971202198013199.post-80764030341966442652020-02-25T18:33:00.002-08:002020-02-25T18:36:38.872-08:00Been a while...Hey guys....<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I know it has been a while since I have typed a blogpost out. I actually had lost motivation for writing for so long. Once I stopped I completely avoided this page for so long until recently. I was trying to figure out a shade of a foundation that I used to use thought maybe I wrote about it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was looking through and wow a lot of things have changed since I was writing. My makeup choices and even skin care choices. I went to Esthetician school and I am now a Licensed Esthetician. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have decided to start back up again and revamp my website. I don't buy as much makeup as I used to, but I do have quite a few makeup items to talk about since its been so long since I wrote about anything. I am still obsessed with playing with makeup.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have decided to talk about skin care products and discuss the ingredients in each product. I have switched to only using Fragrance Free skin care products and I would like to educate everyone who is struggling with sensitive and acne prone skin. I can also discuss ingredients in different makeup items if you guys are interested.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hope you guys will be down for this new journey and if you have anything you want me to discuss regarding these topics let me know. Thank you for sticking around during my hiatus. </div>
<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Do you guys ever struggle to figure out what to make for dinner everyday?? Do you guys want to change it up every once in a while and try something new?? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
That was me a few months back and I ran across Home Chef in a YouTube video and I clicked on the link she had and I tried it out!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
They make it really easy for you! They send a a binder so you can use it to put all the new recipes that you receive for future usage. You go online to your account and they have about 15 different meals for you to choose from. You can either order for 2 servings or 4 servings.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Also you can customize your account if you are vegetarian or have any allergies so they will not show you the meals that you are unable to eat.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Each meal doesn't take long to do. It can take you about 30 minutes for you to do each meal.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This was one of the first meals I made:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTBMj4BEgt7D9FJ_hGFahGYKfMToiE87ypcFkUKdVpNnHcemwCvJaUD4OZVRilIlrZukB3drrp6XUTX3IlL-YaWKWcTI8F7GRiuyDD8PlMhLwONJDoozwSe_YiGCqmjuK8DbUKQe0NV1Y/s1600/Screenshot_20181106-185102_Instagram.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1040" data-original-width="1060" height="313" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTBMj4BEgt7D9FJ_hGFahGYKfMToiE87ypcFkUKdVpNnHcemwCvJaUD4OZVRilIlrZukB3drrp6XUTX3IlL-YaWKWcTI8F7GRiuyDD8PlMhLwONJDoozwSe_YiGCqmjuK8DbUKQe0NV1Y/s320/Screenshot_20181106-185102_Instagram.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Crispy BBQ Tofu</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The ingredients for each recipe comes in separate bags and are organized. Each ingredient is portioned for every single recipe All ingredients are fresh and organic.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When it is delivered, it is delivered in a recyclable box, several ice packs come in the box to cool the box and keep you ingredients fresh, and it is insulated. And because the box is insulated it can be left on your doorstep if you are not home and you don't have to worry about the ingredients going bad.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Also if one week you cannot afford ordering meals then you can always skip that week and wait till the next week for you to order.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Does this sound like something you are interested in?? If so, click <a href="http://bit.ly/2NhAWRV" target="_blank">here</a> and you will get $35 off on your first order.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Have you guys tried out food delivery services before?? If so, what do you guys think of them??</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
It is time for another VoxBox, but this time it is the BeautyBlender VoxBox!! I actually think this was the one box that had me SHOOK!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I knew I was getting this in the mail, but I had no idea how much I was getting if that makes sense. I was so surprised that I spoke to my husband about it and he could give no shits about it haha.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_kELfbz1x80h8GQBNVWOaMd6YygXR1VyDClnxvRKrMyH86SvF7U1w4zu6Z-tFb-RRdrT1AOZROq09QHV9iETfYVlm70EmlmqsvLBE8UP4RG0Gmx6kI388P-Sq0M1dmv-ANjUGHT5vK1k/s1600/20180404_174944.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_kELfbz1x80h8GQBNVWOaMd6YygXR1VyDClnxvRKrMyH86SvF7U1w4zu6Z-tFb-RRdrT1AOZROq09QHV9iETfYVlm70EmlmqsvLBE8UP4RG0Gmx6kI388P-Sq0M1dmv-ANjUGHT5vK1k/s320/20180404_174944.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I received SIX beautyblenders, pink textured cleansing mit, and a beautyblender blendercleanser solid. I will not have to buy a new beauty blender for 2 years maybe!! I am so thankful for Influenster and BeautyBlender for sending this to me complimentary for testing purposes.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Although, it was sent to me for testing purposes I have already tried the beautyblender and the cleanser solid before and I was loving them! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I use the beautyblender for foundation, concealer, cream highlight and bronzer, and powder to set my undereyes and face. I prefer this over using a brush because it makes your skin look so flawless. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The BeautyBlender BlenderCleanser Solid is the BEST product to use to clean your sponge and not just your sponge. You can also use it to clean your brushes!! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The Pink Textured Cleansing Mit is an okay product. I wouldn't use it for sponges, but for brushes. I already have a Sigma brush cleansing matt and I really didn't need this one honestly. I might give it to someone else to use it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
What do you guys think of these products?? Are they your holy grail or do you prefer a different alternative better??</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
PS I might or might not be having a giveaway soon on my Instagram. My Insta is <a href="https://www.instagram.com/theladypsyche/" target="_blank">theladypsyche</a>. Go ahead and follow me there to see when it goes live. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I received the <a href="https://www.sheamoisture.com/100-virgin-coconut-oil-daily-hydration-finishing-oil-serum.html" target="_blank">Daily Hydration Finishing Oil Serum</a>, <a href="https://www.sheamoisture.com/100-virgin-coconut-oil-daily-hydration-overnight-face-oil.html" target="_blank">Daily Hydration Overnight Face Oil</a>, <a href="https://www.target.com/p/sheamoisture-100-coconut-oil-10-5-oz/-/A-51309571?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&CPNG=PLA_Health+Beauty+Shopping&adgroup=SC_Health+Beauty&LID=700000001170770pgs&network=g&device=c&location=9004082&gclid=CjwKCAiAvMPRBRBIEiwABuO6qW386HaknPQNd-YieL17vRpL9Re49LzqCKMfpfjG9tD0jNNmegxZ5RoCxKwQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds" target="_blank">Coconut Oil</a> and <a href="https://www.sheamoisture.com/100-virgin-coconut-oil-leave-in-treatment.html" target="_blank">Daily Hydration Leave-In Treatment</a>. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Out of all the products I didn't use 1 product and that is the face oil. My pores get clogged with face oils and I break out badly so I will be giving that one to a friend or family member.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My favorite product out of all of it is the Finishing Oil Serum. I love using this at second day hair. I apply it everywhere except my scalp. It leaves my hair smelling good for the day and gives it some shine. I can use it 2 days in a row and my hair doesn't feel heavy or greasy.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The next favorite is the Coconut Oil. I use this on my feet because they can be dryer during this time of year and it helped a lot. It is real moisturizing. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lastly, the Leave-In Treatment. These types of leave in conditioners normally doesn't do anything for me and my hair because my hair is so thick. I used a different Shea Moisture Leave-In Conditioner before I received this one that I love , but I still tried this to see if it will work. Sadly, it didn't. I will use it up and my husband can help me use it up, but I will not repurchase this one.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks again Influenster and Shea Moisture for sending me these products! This made me love the brand even more! </div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I thought I would do something different today. Today's topic will be eye creams.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have tried out so many eye creams recently and I didn't like most of them. Right now I am testing out the <a href="https://www.sephora.com/product/moisturizing-eye-bomb-P422905?skuId=1997394&icid2=products%20grid:p422905" target="_blank">Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb.</a> It moisturizes my under eye really well so I am enjoying it at the moment. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Recently, I have been interested in ingredients in skin care since my skin been acting up lately and I am trying to figure out what could be breaking me out. I saw this <a href="https://www.reviews.com/best-eye-cream/" target="_blank">eye cream guide</a> and I was intrigued with what information it said.<br />
<br />
First of all, who knew there were so many creams for so many different issues. It has best options for wrinkles, dark circles, and puffy eyes. I appreciate the fact they have higher end options, but also drugstore for those who can't afford high end products.<br />
<br />
Secondly, what I found very interesting is the importance of packaging. The best packaging to use are the ones in a tube or have a pump to prevent bacteria to get into your eye cream. Also certain ingredients in the eye cream can break down if it is in a pot form of packaging. Who knew right? Not something people think about.<br />
<br />
All this eye cream guide information was sourced from the team at Reviews.com I hope you guys learned something new from this post and from the post at Reviews.com<br />
<br />
Now with this info I am going to try some new eye cream in a tube or pump I don't want bacteria around my eye area.<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Recently, I decided to go cruelty free with everything (I might do a post about this later on) I use in my life like skincare, makeup, fragrances, and etc. Unfortunately, skincare will not be as easy for me. My skin is going through some things right now.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
During this switch I was looking for a perfect shampoo and conditioner and the brand <a href="https://www.mapleholistics.com/" target="_blank">Maple Holistics</a> reached out to me to try out one of their products and I was excited to see that they were cruelty free, sulfate free, organic, and all natural.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
They sent me the <a href="https://www.mapleholistics.com/products/hair-care/shampoo/hydrate-shampoo/" target="_blank">Moisture Control Shampoo</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrj1gk7Ug0wUr9Xln6fQN1BJiqCTDYVWE-oh7zPa_RTutNxGsexI0d5nUqoyIRpQCljbAX_3pdoKZu391Qd7-4X88mlqrjpS7qGN1xnxdMT0hVYvbtf-eGD_BSGkZGIsDnZ-RycPDJx5I/s1600/20170928_144445.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1440" data-original-width="1080" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrj1gk7Ug0wUr9Xln6fQN1BJiqCTDYVWE-oh7zPa_RTutNxGsexI0d5nUqoyIRpQCljbAX_3pdoKZu391Qd7-4X88mlqrjpS7qGN1xnxdMT0hVYvbtf-eGD_BSGkZGIsDnZ-RycPDJx5I/s320/20170928_144445.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This post is not sponsored they just sent me the product for free for testing purposes and for me to write about my experience with the product.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
When I first received the product I smelled it as you do with everything haha. I loved the smell. This shampoo has lavender, carrot and parsley seed, silk peptide, jojoba and almond oils, and botanical keratin. I smell the lavender and it smells like legit lavender not an artificial scent. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is what the website says about each ingredient for if you guys are interested:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;"><strong style="color: #898567; font-size: small;">"Lavender:</strong><span style="color: #898567; font-size: x-small;"> </span><span style="color: #898567; font-size: x-small;">Bulgarian Lavender of the highest quality oversees the combination of therapeutic properties used in this formula. Aid in softening minor blemishes resulting from dry scalp, defense against possible infections with antiseptic-/analgesis properties and reduction of scarring are all benefits this essential ingredient provides.</span></span></div>
<div style="color: #898567; line-height: 1.5; padding: 0px 30px; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><strong>Carrot and Parsley Seed:</strong> Helps rejuvinates and regenerate skin with high levels of carotene and caratol. Also synergizes to stimulate cell growth, remove toxic build-up in the skin and improve complexion. Carrots help promote hair growth and add thickness to the hair. Because it is loaded with Vitamin A, it keeps the hair well-conditioned, shiny, and resilient. Parsley seed, on the other hand, help get rid of dandruff; it also makes the hair shiny and stimulates hair growth.</span></div>
<div style="color: #898567; line-height: 1.5; padding: 0px 30px; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><strong>Silk Peptide:</strong> From the cocoon of the silkworm, eighteen different silk amino acids (including glycine, serine, and alanine) contribute superior moisture binding properties to improve moisture retention capacity while nourishing and balancing extra dry follicles. Thanks to its molecular mesh structure, it is the top choice in barrier creams and products for severely dry hair and skin.</span></div>
<div style="color: #898567; line-height: 1.5; padding: 0px 30px; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><strong>Jojoba and Almond:</strong> These two gentle carrier oils are some of nature’s best ingredients to help smooth dry and irritated scalps. Almond has a range of nourishing elements, such as protein, vitamin E1, potassium, zing, and calcium, to name a few. It helps nourish the hair, repair the damage, reduce frequent hair fall, and help in the growth of new follicles. Jojoba, on the other hand, hydrates hair from the inside of the hair shaft.</span></div>
<div style="color: #898567; line-height: 1.5; padding: 0px 30px; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><strong>Botanical Keratin:</strong> Hair nutrient deficiencies can sometimes stem from lack of keratin, which this natural ingredient generously replenishes. Botanical keratin molecules are known to coat the hair cuticle, leaving the hair saturated with keratin both inside and out. It also smoothen frizzy and unmanageable hair."</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
When I first used the shampoo I wasn't sure about what I would think of it cause once I rinsed the shampoo my hair felt rough for a min, but once I applied conditioner and rinsed it out my hair feels so smooth and soft and my hair smeellllsss sooo good. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After the first time using it my hair doesn't feel rough after rinsing it out anymore and this product is supposed to help with dry scalp and I feel like it does do that! I used to use Head & Shoulders for that type of problem and I feel that this shampoo is waayyy better than that!!! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My scalp used to itch after a couple of days of not washing it and now it doesn't do that anymore. This is my favorite shampoo now and I will be replenishing it once I use up all I have in my bathroom. I have many shampoos and conditioners and I been reaching for this one. That says a lot since I am always using something different. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sorry for the long post its been a while haha. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now if you guys are interested in trying this shampoo or anything from their website they have a <a href="https://www.mapleholistics.com/free-sample/" target="_blank">free samples program</a> and you can put in your information and which product you want to try and they will send you what you want.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Thank you Maple Holistics for reaching out to me and sending me the product and now I LOVE IT! Thanks to my readers for sticking with me life has been hard and I hope to keep posting more frequently. <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have received yet another VoxBox and this time it is the Maybelline City Mini VoxBox. I actually wasn't going to pick this up because I am slowly transitioning to cruelty free makeup, but since I got it I will be reviewing it and then I am going to give it to a friend.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I received the City Mini Palette in Downtown Sunrise. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY3Fff6rhyphenhyphenT26mMgtAOzCdAfneF-TsvaW4ECi2IabN6i8WGBIu6_1V8EzfzAsNJahyphenhyphenJqbzS4ZBiP30bF7bqDKziG6imLQpNAKBcinLP-sKDzDWjkMmPIdlh0jGuOPrJeeIlY0L8EjaWCo/s1600/20170718_130433.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1440" data-original-width="1080" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY3Fff6rhyphenhyphenT26mMgtAOzCdAfneF-TsvaW4ECi2IabN6i8WGBIu6_1V8EzfzAsNJahyphenhyphenJqbzS4ZBiP30bF7bqDKziG6imLQpNAKBcinLP-sKDzDWjkMmPIdlh0jGuOPrJeeIlY0L8EjaWCo/s320/20170718_130433.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvuvCOHiFtsbQXXu8ZrhkTee1NDt2PejB6d0xw1hG9ZxpDdcLvBV2fBkarfntxftURW6yeNGe18EvpHCdQNFBLDpcBfi1o30VK3CWKQxm5-J4OlJ4AnQqvjhGGmQuqUwjLepVUmWG-3Lc/s1600/20170718_130507.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1440" data-original-width="1080" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvuvCOHiFtsbQXXu8ZrhkTee1NDt2PejB6d0xw1hG9ZxpDdcLvBV2fBkarfntxftURW6yeNGe18EvpHCdQNFBLDpcBfi1o30VK3CWKQxm5-J4OlJ4AnQqvjhGGmQuqUwjLepVUmWG-3Lc/s320/20170718_130507.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
All these swatches are two swipes.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
All the shades here are pigmented and easy to blend. I was nervous about the dark brown cause I am used to using those and being very hard to blend, but it surprised me. It was VERY EASY to blend.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The most unique shade is that coral shade and I think that reminds me a lot of the Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette so I am going to get that palette in the future.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I did only one look with this palette and it is on my instagram at theladypsyche.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thank you Influenster for sending me this palette for testing purposes. </div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I received the Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes and I was really excited cause I actually already loved using this product and I got a backup for it thanks to this box. #contest #HowDoYouTLSP</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I actually used to use the <a href="http://ladypsychebeautygear.blogspot.com/2015/02/laura-mercier-invisible-loose-setting.html" target="_blank">Invisible Loose Setting Powder</a> and I really did enjoy it, BUT I think the Loose Translucent Powder is a little bit better. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoCHseSyw5N5JfAEMYT4WdmRgF6CIB5yk8wu5g7J5EPcSEnL_lKq9BKLnA2d8JH0ACsOOs-h0WUjYZcSZnRgeW8PY57kyvR0FKBqbHHbFu7aGc066bcQfzvhTy67tcvrWonwEg8ef2oWE/s1600/20170219_160257.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoCHseSyw5N5JfAEMYT4WdmRgF6CIB5yk8wu5g7J5EPcSEnL_lKq9BKLnA2d8JH0ACsOOs-h0WUjYZcSZnRgeW8PY57kyvR0FKBqbHHbFu7aGc066bcQfzvhTy67tcvrWonwEg8ef2oWE/s320/20170219_160257.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
You can check my Instagram: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/theladypsyche/" target="_blank">theladypsyche</a> and see how my skin looks after setting my face since 100% of the time I use this product. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I use it to bake my under eyes, bake my contour, and set my entire face. My skin doesn't look cakey or dry when I use this product. It leaves my skin looking flawless and helps prevent my concealer from creasing. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I do recommend if you are dry to not bake and just use this product to set everything because it can make you look dry if you do bake. I actually have combination skin so this product works perfectly for me and helps my makeup not melt off my face.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Thank you once again Influenster for sending me this product and giving me a backup of my holy grail powder. If you guys are interested in receiving products from them just go to <a href="http://www.influenster.com/" target="_blank">www.influenster.com</a> and get your profile started. </div>

I have to start with the product I love the most. The Hydrating Bubble Mask is an interesting product. It is like a thick serum and a little bit goes a long way. I have to stop myself from scratching my face because it tickles/itches while it is bubbling. After I wash it off my skin feels smooth and I do feel like it hydrates my skin. </div>

My next favorite product are the lip exfoliators. I love the fact that it comes in a lipstick tube so that makes it real easy to use. It exfoliates the lips and prepares it for the lipstick of the day. </div>

The Matte Lip Color in Wine is a very pretty color. It is not as pigmented as I would like it to be, but that is okay. It also doesn't last as long as I would like it to, but this is a perfect color for the holidays. If you love the matte sheer lip look this will be perfect.</div>

I love mixing both shades together to create a light bronzer shade to bronze up my skin. I do a light hand because if I do too much I will look like a shimmery mess. I didn't think I would like this product, but I love the fact that this is a two in one product. I have used the highlight side as a highlighter and I love it. </div>

This is a great primer for when my skin is feeling dry. When it is combination I won't be able to use this, but during the winter this will be an awesome primer for me. This feel like a thick serum when you first apply it, but once it sinks into the skin and I apply my foundation it applies smooth and flawless. </div>

Thank you Influenster once again for sending me these e.l.f. products. I tend to underestimate this brand a lot cause of how affordable it is, but no more. I already went to purchase other products to try so in the future you will hear about it. </div>

Now time to find some shoes. King Ranch Saddle Shop gave me inspiration to create my own country concert outfit.
