January 2014 Ipsy Bag Review

Hey guys, When I got on the Ipsy website to check what I was getting this month I wasn't as excited to get it as I was with the last two months. Well this is what I got: Before I get into talking about the products I want to talk about the make up bag.  It is cute right??!! As cute as it maybe when I first got the bag out of the package, I smelled this horrible scent and I wasn't sure where it was coming from. I realized that it was coming from this bag and its unfortunate. I might throw it out because of it!  Back to the products I am going to start with my most favorite product in this bag. This is the Briogeo Don't Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Mask.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! First of all, lets start with the smell, it smells like vanilla. Secondly, after just using it once, it made my hair feel super soft. I cannot stop running my hands through my hair. Its supposed to help with breakage, but I am not sure if it helps with that. I love...

88 Original Palette by Coastal Scents

Hey guys!!! When I first Started out with make up at 15 I got make up as birthday gifts that year. I was glad I didn't have to purchase any of it myself. Once I got a job a couple years later I wanted to get more and start experimenting with make up a little bit more. It was a low paying job so I was on a budget. I was looking for an affordable eyeshadow palette because I wanted to play around with colors on my eyes. I decided to purchase the Coastal Scents Original Palette:    I actually heard about this palette from my friend Nikki also known as Nix92585 on YouTube.* She was talking about it on her Facebook and I thought "that's a pretty palette" so I decided to go check it out on the website. I love that everything on there is very affordable and I have had this palette for a couple years now and I barely hit pan on one color. It lasts you a long time for such a reasonable price.  Here are swatches:  As you can see these colo...

My Skin Care Routine

Hey guys!!! For a very long time I didn't care about my skin care whatsoever. The biggest reason why was because I was too lazy to do it! Last year I started watching beauty gurus on YouTube and not only were they talking about make up, but also about how important taking care of your skin is. That's when i decided to take care of my skin. I really wasn't liking the way mine was feeling at the time. Sooooo.....in October I went to Target to purchase a couple of products to try out: Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser ($4) In the morning right after I wake up I get one pump of product and massage it all over my face till it foams up.  Then rinse it off and dry my face with a towel. My face feels very refreshed, clean, and awake. It also wakes me up a little bit especially since I am so not a morning person.  St. Ives Blemish Control Green Tea Scrub ($6) I only use this every couple of days while I'm taking a shower because I have Normal to Dr...

Maybelline New York EYESTUDIO eyeshadow quad in Sapphire Siren

Hey guys!! Welcome to my first blog! I had seen these quads being recommended on a lot of YouTube videos so I decided to go pick one up and see what all the hype is about! There are so many different colors in every since quad and I couldn't decide which one to get!! i decided to get one with my favorite color(blue): Even before i swatched these colors I was in love with them!! LOOK HOW GORGEOUS!! Now time to swatch...... I was very IMPRESSED!! They are very pigmented and this is without a primer!!  These colors are very blendable and very easy to work with. I have to use a primer because of my oily eyelids and these shadows looked even more beautiful and pigmented. I love the fact that you can do a couple of eye looks with these quads. I highly recommend them.  I got mine at Target for $7.99!! You can pick these up at your local drugstores. I cannot wait to pick up more of these quads!!
