Face of the Day!

Hey guys!!! I decided to do a Face of the Day post since I haven't done one in a while. I really liked my makeup from yesterday so I thought why not?  I started off by applying a primer on my face so it can set into the skin while I work on my eyes. I primed my eyes with my Urban Decay Primer Potion  and while that sets I went to my eyebrows. I am trying out a new product for my eyebrows and it is the ELF Eyebrow Kit in Dark. I set my eyebrows with the ELF Brow Mascara . Back to the eyes. I used  Makeup Geek eyeshadow in Creme Brulee in my crease as my transition shade and blended it out. After that I used Makeup Geek eyeshadow in Cocoa Bear  all over my lid. I blended it out till it looked seamless. I move back to the face and come back to the eyes later.  I applied my Sephora Collection 10 HR Wear Perfection Foundation all over my skin and for concealer I used my Jane Cosmetics Concealer under my eyes. To highlight my forehead, nose, t...

Venus Embrace Sensitive VoxBox

Hey guys!!! I received another box complimentary from Influenster! This time I got the Venus Embrace Sensitive VoxBox for testing purposes. I already loved the Venus razors and I was excited to try out the razor targeted for sensitive skin and according to the card it hasn't even been released yet.  I was happy when I saw that it came with a $4 coupon especially since these razors can be pricey.  With the 5 blades it has I am able to shave my legs faster than with a disposable razor. It has "a protective ribbon of moisture with a touch of aloe." I love how it leaves my legs with some moisture so I don't have to use too much lotion to moisturize my legs. Also my legs feel really soft and smooth once I have moisturized them. My skin feels irritated whenever I use the disposable razors and with this razor I did not have that issue. My most favorite part about this product is.....  BAM!!! I can stick it to the wall and I don't have to ...

ELF Eye and Face Brushes

Hey guys!!  I know I always talk about my favorite Real Techniques brushes, but I have a few ELF brushes that I love and one that I don't love as much. I have 5 brushes to talk to you guys about today! I have 3 eye brushes and 2 face brushes. The ELF Essential Brushes are only $1 and the ELF Studio brush is $3!! Very affordable price for some good brushes. Now to tell you about every single brush. I will start with the eye brushes. ELF Essential Blending Eye Brush At first I got this brush so I could blend out my whole crease, but I realized I needed a more fluffy brush for that so I looked for different ways to use this. I still use this in my crease, but to add color to a specific area in my crease and I go with a fluffy brush to blend it out. I also use this to add color to my outer v and sometimes my inner corner depending on the eye look I am going for. I use this brush almost everyday and I love it! Also whenever I deep clean this brush it doesn't s...

Wet n Wild Fergie Creme Lipsticks

Hey guys!! I have heard about the Wet n Wild Fergie lipsticks, but because they are so cheap I was very skeptical because I thought maybe my lips will dry up with them. My good friend Krystelle highly recommended these and thanks to her I had to run to a Walgreens last time I was in New York I bought 3 of them.  When I first tried this out I had really bad dry lips and it wasn't really flattering. It actually enhanced the dryness. I almost didn't like these lipsticks, but I decided to take care of my lips and once it was taken care of give these products another chance. Once my  lips were better I tried them again and OMG I am in LOOVVVEEE!! It is so pigmented and because of how pigmented they are you have to be careful with the way you apply it because if you go outside your lip line it will leave a stain on your skin.  (Left to Right) Ferguson Crest Cabernet, Fuchsianista,  and Old School Glam. This was with just ONE swipe!! I now have ...

SEPHORA COLLECTION 10 HR Wear Perfection Foundation

Hey guys!! Finally going to talk about another foundation. I wanted to test it out for a while before giving my final thoughts on it. I decided to try out a foundation that doesn't get talked about much. SEPHORA COLLECTION 10 HR Wear Perfection Foundation I have a love hate relationship with this foundation to be honest. When I apply it to my face it looks shiny at first so I apply a translucent powder to reduce the shine. I love the finish of it because it is in between matte and dewy. It has medium to buildable coverage and your skin looks really flawless when first applied.  It says it is "10 HR Wear" and it does not last me 10 hours. I apply at 5:30am for work and by the time I come home some areas are blotchy and my blush isn't as noticable as when I first applied it. Also you will probably need a powder or blotting sheets throughout the day because you will look shiny all day with this. I have normal to dry skin and I looked shiny!  There ...

NYX Matte Lipstick

Hey guys!!! Time to talk about more lip products!! This time I am going to talk about the NYX Matte Lipstick.  I was hesitant to getting this product since it is a matte lip product I didn't want to buy it and not like it then feel like I wasted my money. For any matte lip product I am hesitant because my lips dry really easily. I purchased one myself and one my friend Sam gave it to me in our swap .  I decided to get myself a pink lipstick to see how it will look like on me and experiment with my makeup a little. My friend got me the red one and I love red so I immediately loved the color. The shades are Sweet Pink and Eden. When I first put this product on my lips I expected for it to be very drying. After I applied it I was impressed! It was very creamy and really moisturizing. I wore it for a few hours and my lips never dried up. I was also impressed with how pigmented these lipsticks are. Two swipes and you are done.  These lipsticks last m...

Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil

Hey guys!!!! Time to discuss another one of my favorite lip products. My friend Krystelle recommended this lip product and even this shade so when it arrived in the mail I was so excited to try it out because of how hyped she was about the product. Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Pomegranate On the Sephora website is says that it is "A long-lasting, matte lip color." First for it to be a matte lip pencil it doesn't dry out my lips at all and you guys know I have very easily chapped lips. I actually feel like it moisturizes them throughout the time I am wearing this product. It is very pigmented. Here is a swatch with just one swipe: I wore this product for almost 4 hours and it had only faded a little bit. I always use a clear lip liner whenever I wear it just in case it feathers. One time I reapplied and it reapplied nicely.  What I love about this brand, Bite Beauty, is that it is "free of synthetics, polybutenes, and petroleum bypro...

LORAC PRO Cream Eyeliner

Hey guys!!! I was really enjoying my Mary Kay Gel Eyeliner in Jet Black and I wanted to get another gel liner in a different brand and color. Back when LORAC was leaving Sephora they were on a big sale, but sadly for me I came too late and there was only a few things left. I saw the gel eyeliner and saw that it was $4(regular $19) so I decided to pick it up.  I got the LORAC PRO Cream Eyeliner in Plum. It is a very beautiful subtle purple. People were not tell it was purple until I pointed it out. It was a really easy liner to work with and it lasted all day. It lasted through my watery eyes and me sweating at the same time for about 30 minutes while I was outside in the heat.  It is very pigmented and the website says "it is infused with Vitamins E and C." Most colored eyeliners I always have to go over more than once to get it to be as pigmented as I want it and for this one I don't have to do that. That means I will not be wasting too much product every...

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil

Hey guys!!! This will be a quick review of my new favorite product. I had heard a lot about the NYX Jumbo Eye pencil in Milk and as always I really wanted to try it especially since I love using bright colors on my eyes. I had heard some people say that it creases, but I still wanted to try it out for myself. As you can see it is basically a white base you can put all over your lid and white helps to intensify any bright color you want. I did notice if you put too much on your lid then it will crease, but if you put on a thin layer and blend it out then you will not have any creasing issues. I use this almost everytime I use colored eyeshadows not really for neutral shadows.  Sometimes some bright eyeshadows fade a little bit throughout the day with just primer. Now I use the white base along with the primer and the intensity of the color lasts all day for me.  Have you guys tried out this product?? Do you guys have any favorite NYX products??

Wet N Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio

Hey guys!!! I always thought that Wet N Wild would be a very bad makeup line because it is so cheap so I never thought about trying anything from the brand. Until I saw my friend Nikki talk about the brand and I decided to go purchase something to try it out.  I decided to try the Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio in the shade Sweet as Candy. It was $2.99 at Target. There were so many shades so it was a little overwhelming and I was not sure which one to choose. In the end I thought why not get the most neutral one and see how I like it. When I got home I swatched the colors and I was really impressed how pigmented they are without a primer. I really like that it is labeled on where you apply the shadows. That is great for beginners who don't know where to apply what. It has browbone on the lighter shade, crease on the brown shade, and eyelid on the pink shade. You can't really see the labels on my shadows since this trio was very well loved. They are a little p...

NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder

Hey guys!!! I have heard about this product all over YouTube and I been wanting to try it out for so long, but I was trying to use up the stuff I have before I bought it. I was excited when my friend Sam got it for me on our  swap  so when I finally used up my Pixi bronzer it was time to get this one out and test it out! NYC Sunny Bronzer This is $2.99 at the drugstore and online on the NYC website . I definitely recommend this bronzer for any beginners who want to get into bronzing and contouring. Why? Because it is not as pigmented as let's say my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer and if you overdo it it can look muddy. This bronzer you can slowly build it up or just to leave it sheer if you are going for a more natural look. The swatch on the picture is a heavy swatch. When I do my makeup for work I do it at 5:15am and I can easily make myself look muddy if I am not careful with my Too Faced bronzer. This is a perfect one to use early in the mo...
