Birchbox January 2015 Unboxing

Hey guys!!!

I received my Birchbox last week and not that excited with the products I received, but I am glad I got deluxe sample sized products for the most part. They have been improving on the products they have been sending I almost cancelled before, but now I won't be anytime soon.

  • Whish Three Whishes Body Butter- I got the lavender scent and it says it is a formula that firms, softens, and soothes the skin. I am excited to try this out! Who doesn't need a good body butter right??
  • Manna Kadar Lip Locked- This is a stain lip product just like the Sephora Cream Lip Stain that I love so much. I might use a brush the first time I use it just in case I don't like it and I can give it to someone else.
  • Paula's Choice RESIST Moisture Renewal Oil Booster- This is a serum that is made with 9 plant oils and it is perfect for very dry skin. I probably won't use this just because I already have a serum that I love and I don't have very dry skin. I will be giving this to someone who really needs it.
  • Karma Organic Spa Soybean Oil and Tea Tree Oil Nail Polish Remover- This is made of soybean oil and tea tree oil and it is a nontoxic formula that will strengthen nails and cuticles. I am excited to try something different to remove my nail polish. Hopefully it works out!
  • Curly Hair Solutions Curl Keeper Gel- This is a water based formula that fends on frizz and leaves curls sleek and shiny. It is supposed to be never crunchy, but my mom already tried this out and she doesn't like it. She said her hair felt crunchy so sadly this wasn't a hit product.
That is what I got in my birchbox. If you are interested in getting this subscription service it is only $10 a month for 5 samples to deluxe sample sized products. They been stepping up their game lately so if you want to get it go here.

What did you guys receive in your birchbox this month?? Like I said before this wasn't as exciting as my two last boxes, but oh well not every month will be great months you know??

Whitening Lightning Color Your Smile Lighted Lip Gloss

Hey guys!!! Have you guys heard of  Jaclyn Hill ?? If not you have been missing out. She does the best make-up tutorials and recently she had a brush set with Sigma which I missed out on cause I couldn't afford it at the time. Then she announced she came out with her own lip gloss through Whitening Lightning and decided to go ahead and get this one even if it was a little pricey, but I saved up money for it. See how pigmented that color is?? This is the color Rose Hill and the website says it is a romantic and feminine hue. It is a beautiful rosy red color and I love it!! This gloss is amazing because first it has a mirror on the side. Just remember to remove the sticker that is on top of the mirror, but I haven't done that yet that's why it looks dirty on the picture. Secondly, when you open this gloss it lights up. So if you need to reapply when you are out and you don't have a mirror and/or you are in a dark place you are covered. Last but n

Pssssst! Instant Dry Shampoo

Hey guys!!! I love love love the Batiste Dry Shampoo , but before I traveled back in October I had ran out and I didn't have time to buy more. I went into a drugstore and the only thing I found was a Pssssst! Instant Dry Shampoo so I decided to go ahead and try it out.  I honestly do not like this dry shampoo, but I don't hate it. This dry shampoo will get the job done. It sucks up all the oils in your hair and it will stay like that till the next day. I hate the smell of it. To me it turns me off to a product if it doesn't smell good. Also a couple days ago I sprayed some in and someone told me that one side of my hair is white. This is definitely a product that you need to brush it out after a few minutes of applying it to your hair. The white cast that it leaves behind also turn me off to this product. Overall this is an okay dry shampoo. I will be going back to Batiste as soon as this is done haha. Have you guys tried this product?? What do you think??

88 Original Palette by Coastal Scents

Hey guys!!! When I first Started out with make up at 15 I got make up as birthday gifts that year. I was glad I didn't have to purchase any of it myself. Once I got a job a couple years later I wanted to get more and start experimenting with make up a little bit more. It was a low paying job so I was on a budget. I was looking for an affordable eyeshadow palette because I wanted to play around with colors on my eyes. I decided to purchase the Coastal Scents Original Palette:    I actually heard about this palette from my friend Nikki also known as Nix92585 on YouTube.* She was talking about it on her Facebook and I thought "that's a pretty palette" so I decided to go check it out on the website. I love that everything on there is very affordable and I have had this palette for a couple years now and I barely hit pan on one color. It lasts you a long time for such a reasonable price.  Here are swatches:  As you can see these color
