January 2015 Favorites

Hey guys!!!

I don't have many favorites this month just because I have been trying out a lot of makeup that I can't wait to tell you guys about them. There are only a couple of products that I used continuously throughout the month.

  • NYC Sunny Bronzer- I was trying to use up another bronzer, but I got bored of it and I went back to this bronzer. This is a great everyday bronzer and since it is not very highly pigmented I don't ever overdo it on my cheeks.
  • Sephora Collection Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover- This is a great eye makeup remover it even removes most of my waterproof mascara.
  • First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream- When I had run out of this cream I actually noticed a difference on my hands especially during this winter weather. The dry patches on my hands were coming back and now that I have it back I will never be without it.
  • Kat Von D Tattoo Liner- I was using gel liner for a couple of months and ever since I got this liquid eye liner in the color Trooper I can't put it down. This lasts all day and it is able to stand my watery eyes or even crying. HOLY GRAIL!
  • Makeup Geek Blush- The only blush I have from her is Summer Fling and I have been using it nonstop this month I love it. I got this blush because I wanted to get one that was out of my comfort zone and since this was a orange color blush it was perfect.
  • NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil- I only have the color Milk and I was using quite a lot of colored eyeshadows this month so this was perfect to use to brighten up the colored shadows.
  • Maybelline The Rocket Mascara- This is my holy grail mascara and I didn't have it for a few months. I don't know why I did that to myself because I love what did mascara does to my lashes and also my curls never fall with this mascara. One thing though it is a pain to remove so make sure you have a good eye makeup remover.
Those are all my January favorites! Like I said before there are lots of things I will be reviewing in the next few weeks so be on the lookout for that,

What were some of you guys favorites for the month of January??

Whitening Lightning Color Your Smile Lighted Lip Gloss

Hey guys!!! Have you guys heard of  Jaclyn Hill ?? If not you have been missing out. She does the best make-up tutorials and recently she had a brush set with Sigma which I missed out on cause I couldn't afford it at the time. Then she announced she came out with her own lip gloss through Whitening Lightning and decided to go ahead and get this one even if it was a little pricey, but I saved up money for it. See how pigmented that color is?? This is the color Rose Hill and the website says it is a romantic and feminine hue. It is a beautiful rosy red color and I love it!! This gloss is amazing because first it has a mirror on the side. Just remember to remove the sticker that is on top of the mirror, but I haven't done that yet that's why it looks dirty on the picture. Secondly, when you open this gloss it lights up. So if you need to reapply when you are out and you don't have a mirror and/or you are in a dark place you are covered. Last but n

Pssssst! Instant Dry Shampoo

Hey guys!!! I love love love the Batiste Dry Shampoo , but before I traveled back in October I had ran out and I didn't have time to buy more. I went into a drugstore and the only thing I found was a Pssssst! Instant Dry Shampoo so I decided to go ahead and try it out.  I honestly do not like this dry shampoo, but I don't hate it. This dry shampoo will get the job done. It sucks up all the oils in your hair and it will stay like that till the next day. I hate the smell of it. To me it turns me off to a product if it doesn't smell good. Also a couple days ago I sprayed some in and someone told me that one side of my hair is white. This is definitely a product that you need to brush it out after a few minutes of applying it to your hair. The white cast that it leaves behind also turn me off to this product. Overall this is an okay dry shampoo. I will be going back to Batiste as soon as this is done haha. Have you guys tried this product?? What do you think??

88 Original Palette by Coastal Scents

Hey guys!!! When I first Started out with make up at 15 I got make up as birthday gifts that year. I was glad I didn't have to purchase any of it myself. Once I got a job a couple years later I wanted to get more and start experimenting with make up a little bit more. It was a low paying job so I was on a budget. I was looking for an affordable eyeshadow palette because I wanted to play around with colors on my eyes. I decided to purchase the Coastal Scents Original Palette:    I actually heard about this palette from my friend Nikki also known as Nix92585 on YouTube.* She was talking about it on her Facebook and I thought "that's a pretty palette" so I decided to go check it out on the website. I love that everything on there is very affordable and I have had this palette for a couple years now and I barely hit pan on one color. It lasts you a long time for such a reasonable price.  Here are swatches:  As you can see these color
