December 2014 Ipsy Bag

Hey guys!!!

This month's bag wasn't that exciting for me and I gave away as gifts most of the things in this bag. One product I really wanted to try, but I wasn't able to and I will let you know once I get to the product.

The bag this month is a nice bag. I been using a few of my ipsy bags as gifts to friends and family. This one will be used for that soon.

Beauty Without Cruelty AHA 3% Facial Cleanser

This cleanser is directed more to oily skin people and I don't have oily skin. Plus I started using a new one that I think I am loving and will continue to love. It is barely the second day using it so we shall see. I will be giving this one away to someone.

NYX Cosmetics Butter Lip Balm

I received mine in Marshmallow and it didn't work out for me at all. I didn't hydrate my lips at all they got even more dry than before. Now I am left dealing with these dry lips. Just keep in mind my lips are stubborn just like everything else about me haha. Not any old lip balm will work on me.

Pixi by Petra Fairy Dust

I got the shade Brightening Bare and I don't like the shade. It was so blah to me, but the formula was nice. It was nicely pigmented at first. By the end of my work day it had faded away a bit even with a primer and a base. I honestly think I will throw this out. I wasn't very impressed so I won't be using it. Might as well throw it out.

Swissco Electroplated Eyelash Curler

At first when I saw this I was annoyed because it was just an eyelash curler couldn't you have sent me something better?! Now I am happy that I received it because the one I was using wouldn't curl all of my eyelashes and everytime I put on mascara it would look weird. This one does curl all of them and I love it!

Tarte Deluxe Lights Camera Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara

I really wanted to try this, but it isn't waterproof so I decided to give it to someone as a Christmas gift. I know I love my Laura Mercier mascara and that is not waterproof, but I heard that this mascara comes in waterproof so I would rather try that one if I were to try it. The Laura Mercier one does not come in waterproof so I just pair it with a waterproof mascara.

Whitening Lightning Color Your Smile Lighted Lip Gloss

Hey guys!!! Have you guys heard of Jaclyn Hill ?? If not you have been missing out. She does the best make-up tutorials and recently she had a brush set with Sigma which I missed out on cause I couldn't afford it at the time. Then she announced she came out with her own lip gloss through Whitening Lightning and decided to go ahead and get this one even if it was a little pricey, but I saved up money for it. See how pigmented that color is?? This is the color Rose Hill and the website says it is a romantic and feminine hue. It is a beautiful rosy red color and I love it!! This gloss is amazing because first it has a mirror on the side. Just remember to remove the sticker that is on top of the mirror, but I haven't done that yet that's why it looks dirty on the picture. Secondly, when you open this gloss it lights up. Pssssst! Instant Dry Shampoo

Hey guys!!! I love love love the Batiste Dry Shampoo , but before I traveled back in October I had ran out and I didn't have time to buy more. I went into a drugstore and the only thing I found was a Pssssst! Instant Dry Shampoo so I decided to go ahead and try it out. I honestly do not like this dry shampoo, but I don't hate it. This dry shampoo will get the job done. It sucks up all the oils in your hair and it will stay like that till the next day. I hate the smell of it. To me it turns me off to a product if it doesn't smell good. Also a couple days ago I sprayed some in and someone told me that one side of my hair is white. This is definitely a product that you need to brush it out after a few minutes of applying it to your hair. The white cast that it leaves behind also turn me off to this product. Overall this is an okay dry shampoo. I will be going back to Batiste as soon as this is done haha. Have you guys tried this product?? What do you think?? ...

Favorite New York City Restaurants

Hey guys!!! I thought I would do something different on my blog today. I was just on vacation to New York and I have my list of favorite restaurants that I would like to recommend. Some of these restaurants I HAVE to go back everytime I go to New York because it is that good! 1. Mighty Quinn's Barbeque : If you love brisket then this is the place for you. This place has the BEST brisket I have ever tasted and I always compare any other brisket to this one. So far no brisket has been able to compare to it. 2. Shake Shack: OMG these are the best burgers I have ever had. I especially love the SmokeShack burger it has bacon in it. I love me some bacon. I enjoy their cheese fries and their lemonade. Ever since I tried these burgers I compare them to every other burger place I go to. I haven't found anything better yet. 3.
