CoTz Face Prime & Protect Tinted SPF 40

 Hey guys!!

Now for the most important product in my skincare routine. My sunscreen.

I have been looking for my perfect sunscreen for a while and there was a lot of misses for me. I would break out sometimes the day I use it or a couple days after.

I actually almost gave up in finding a sunscreen because I kept spending money and finding nothing that worked for me. After I spoke to MadiHearts during a consult she recommended this sunscreen to me.

CoTz Face Prime & Protect Tinted SPF 40

As I mentioned in my previous sunscreens post, I realized that for my skin type physical/mineral sunscreens are best for me.

The brand CoTz is reef friendly, water resistant, preservative free, no animal testing, mineral protection, and gluten free.

What intrigued me about this product was that it is a sunscreen and a primer in one(I don't believe primers are necessary). I tested the sunscreen out first and after a couple weeks I decided to apply makeup on top. My skin looked flawless! My skin, even with makeup, had not looked this good in the longest time.

The texture of this sunscreen is very thick, whipped mousse-like, and silicone-based. It blends out translucent and it sets to a matte finish. Once the product sets my skin feels so soft.

Since it sets into a matte finish I don't get too oily throughout the day. It layers really well when I reapply more after a few hours. They recommend every 2 hours.

The tint doesn't add coverage, but my skin feels smooth, soft, and makeup applies beautifully on top.

Ingredients that stood out: Active Ingredients: Zinc Oxide (3.8%), and Titanium Dioxide(8%).

Finally, after the longest time, after using this sunscreen for exactly a month, I can say that this is my holy grail sunscreen.

If you are interested in trying this product it is available on CoTz, and Ulta online.

What are some of you guys favorite sunscreens??

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99 ...
