September 2014 Ipsy Bag

I know I am late with this post especially since I already received my October bag, but I had been really busy lately. I was excited to receive the bag after I saw what I was getting on the website. Here is the bag and products:

I have a lot of makeup bags thanks to this subscription service, but this one is one of my top favorites that I have received!

Now to start with the products inside the bag.

Alterna Haircare Caviar CC Cream 10-in-1 Complete Correction

I honestly didn't think I would love this product. It is supposed to moisturize, provide shine, smoothness, softness, UV Protection, manageability,strength, anti-breakage, heat protection, and light hold. First of all it smells really good and secondly I love how soft my hair feels once it is dry and because it does smell good it makes my hair smell good too. It has also helped with breakage of my hair and I will most likely be buying the full size!

Crown Brush Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush

I have heard a lot about Crown Brushes so I was very excited when I saw this in my bag. The brushes are very soft and they apply and blend my makeup amazingly. When I washed it none of the brush hairs fell out. I am impressed with this brush and I may get more in the future.

NYX Hot Singles Eyeshadow

I received the color Addiction and I am in love with the shade. It is a pretty burgandy color and it is perfect for fall. The formula of the shadow is amazing it is pigmented and really easy to blend. I kind of want to get more of these haha. What are some of you guys favorite shades??

Pacifica Natural Water-Proof Eye Pencil

I received the shade gun metal and as you can see it is a silver gray shade. It was a little disappointing because it isn't as creamy as I thought it would be. I only use it as a base on my eyelids for other eyeshadows and it works for making the shadows pop and last all day.

Cailyn Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss

I received the shade Basic Instinct. I honestly didn't try this one all I did was swatch it. This color isn't a shade that I am into so I added it to my giveaway winner's goody bag and hopefully she enjoys it. I wish I had gotten the red shade.

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

Hey guys!!! I saw a review on YouTube on a new mascara and after seeing that I really wanted to try it out. I went and bought the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in waterproof. I LOVE the Maybelline The Rocket mascara and it is my holy grail, but I always love trying other mascaras and see if it is as good or even better than The Rocket. I really love the wand because I am able to reach the lashes in my inner corner. One important thing to me in a mascara is if the waterproof formula will keep my lashes curled all day without them falling. I am happy to say that my curl stay up all day with this mascara. This is my second Maybelline mascara that I have tried and I am noticing that if I didn't have a good makeup remover it would be really hard to remove. This mascara gave me a little bit of length and good volume. I like to build up my mascaras and this will make my lashes clumpy after the second coat and I don't like the look.. Nails of the Week

Hey guys!!! I decided to talk about what is on my nails for the week. I will be doing this a couple times a month since I like to change my nail colors frequently! I used China Glaze polish in the color Frostbite and on top i used the Wet n Wild Wild Shine glitter polish. I am not too sure what the name of it is, but it is my favorite glitter polish to use. This was my first time using a China Glaze nail polish, but I was kinda disappointed. I had to apply the color about 3-4 times for it to be this pretty bright color. If you don't have time to sit there and apply this many coats and wait for it to dry I don't recommend this color. The upside about this nail polish is that it lasts on your nails without chipping. Normally mine start chipping after 3 days because I wash my hands so many times a day since I work with kids. Right now its the 6th day and I only have minor chipping.
