Birchbox August 2015 Unboxing

Hey guys!!!

Like I told you all last night today I will be showing you what I got in my Birchbox this month. Unfortunately I won't be using a few of these things because it isn't for me, but I will be giving it away to either friends or you guys. I had to redo the personal test on the website so hopefully I will get more products that suit me more.

  • IPKN Flash Cream Radiant Primer- This is a primer that is rich in fruit extracts, has SPF 15 and will give your skin a luminous finish. I am already oily soooo I don't need anymore luminosity on my skin. I am sure some of you guys know how I feel.
  • Balance Me Congested Skin Serum- Calming spot treatment that fights blemishes, refines pores, and balances skin without drying. I am using a new serum at the moment and so far I am liking it so I don't want to mess my skin care up even though it sounds so amazing to try.
  • Air Repair Complexion Boosting Moisturizer- It is packed with antioxidants and humectants. This will hydrate and revitalizes dry or dull skin. I read this is good for when you travel so I will be keeping this for whenever I do.
  • R+Co Death Valley Dry Shampoo- This will sap excess oils, give hair volume and body, and add texture. I am always interested in trying new dry shampoos so we shall see how I like this one. Hope its good!
  • LAQA & Co Charm School Kit- It is a creamy crayon that gives you a rich and easy to apply color on lips and cheek. I honestly will not use this on my cheeks only my lips. I think it will be gross to use it on both in my opinion.
That is what I got in my Birchbox this month. Do you guys get this box? What did you receive and what was your favorite product in the box?? If not and you are interested in getting it go here. It is only $10 a month for 5 sample to deluxe sample sized products. This is one of my favorite boxes to receive.

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox

Hey guys!!! I received the Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes and I was really excited cause I actually already loved using this product and I got a backup for it thanks to this box. #contest #HowDoYouTLSP I actually used to use the Invisible Loose Setting Powder and I really did enjoy it, BUT I think the Loose Translucent Powder is a little bit better.  You can check my Instagram:  theladypsyche and see how my skin looks after setting my face since 100% of the time I use this product.  I use it to bake my under eyes, bake my contour, and set my entire face. My skin doesn't look cakey or dry when I use this product. It leaves my skin looking flawless and helps prevent my concealer from creasing.  I do recommend if you are dry to not bake and just use this product to set everything because it can make you look dry if you do bake. I actually have combination skin so this product works perfectly for me ...

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99 ...
