May Favorites 2014

Hey guys!!!

I decided to do my favorites of the month of May. I don't know if I will do one every month, but I will try. Now on to the favorites.

  • It's Judy Time Eyeshadow Palette: I recently got the palette and spent most of the month playing around with it. I am in love with this palette and I did a review here.
  • Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer: In March I bought this product and I didn't start using it till this month. OMG I don't know why I took so long to use it because it has quickly become my holy grail bronzer and also I reviewed that here.
  • Mary Kay Gel Eyeliner in Jet Black: This was my first ever gel eyeliner and it is a lot easier to use than I thought. Only thing is that its not as black I would want it but it is a good gel liner. I reviewed it here.
  • Mary Kay Blush in Shy Blush: I honestly didn't think I would love this blush, but surprisingly I love it. It gives you a beautiful glow. I reviewed that as well here.
  • Mary Kay Nourishing Lip Gloss in Mango Tango: This has been my most favorite lip gloss ever. This one doesn't dry up my lips and I love the color. Once again I reviewed it here.
  • BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready: I love the color of this lipstick. It is a very pretty pink color and it goes with practically every eye look I do. It's basically a my lips but better color. I received it in my Ipsy bag and for it being a sample size it has lasted me quite a while. I swatched and reviewed it here.
  • Maybelline The Rocket Mascara: Ever since I got this mascara I have been in LOVE! What I love about it the most is that it keeps my curl. I spend time curling my lashes I would love it to stay up with mascara right? I am getting sad because it is starting to dry up. My full review on this mascara is here.
  • Jane Cosmetics Eye Primer: I have 3 or 4 different eye primers in my drawer and I have been reaching for this one this month. My shadows lasts all day with this primer. I recommend this one if you are looking for an affordable primer. I reviewed it here.
Okay those have been my most favorite products for May. This was my first time doing this so hopefully you guys enjoyed reading. What are some of you guys favorite products of the month?? I would love to know.

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99 ...

Aveeno ultra calming makeup removing wipes

Hey guys!!! I received the Aveeno makeup remover wipes as a gift! Finally I was able to stop using the horrible wipes that I was using before!! These wipes are amazing! They smell so good and everytime I take one out I have to smell it before I use it on my face. They are very moist and they remove most of my face and eye makeup. I always go with a cotton round with another makeup remover no matter which wipes I use just to make sure everything is off. I don't know if they remove waterproof mascara since I am not using one at the moment. Most IMPORTANTLY it did NOT break me out!  I looked online on walmart to see how much it was and it is around $7. I probably will purchase this myself later on down the line.
