Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder

Hey guys!!!

In my project pan I mentioned that I wanted to use up the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in Bronze-03. I got this in a Laura Mercier 500 point perk and I have heard a lot about the shade highlight-01 so I had high hopes that this product would be great as well.

I am used to my bronzer being very pigmented and having to be very careful with it because if I don't I will look muddy. This product I don't have that problem. This product looks natural on the skin and doesn't look harsh at all. I do my makeup very early in the morning and thanks to this I never worry about having a heavy hand and making myself look muddy.

The swatch on the picture is actually a heavy swatch. This product is good for people who tend to be heavy handed with their bronzer or even beginners who are still trying to get the hang of bronzing and contouring. I am still trying to get the hang of contouring to be honest.

The website says that it is supposed to give you a healthy radiance glow to the skin and it does just that. It is very blendable and easy to work with.

Overall I do love this product. I still stand by my holy grail Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer 100%, but I would repurchase this one as well. This one is a new holy grail everyday bronzer and the too faced would be special occasions when I can take my time with my makeup and not worry being heavy handed with it.

Have you guys tried this product out?? What do you think?? I still want the highlighter, but I am using up a few before I get that one. What are some of you favorite Laura Mercier products?? I have tried a few and so far nothing has disappointed me yet.

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox

Hey guys!!! I received the Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes and I was really excited cause I actually already loved using this product and I got a backup for it thanks to this box. #contest #HowDoYouTLSP I actually used to use the Invisible Loose Setting Powder and I really did enjoy it, BUT I think the Loose Translucent Powder is a little bit better.  You can check my Instagram:  theladypsyche and see how my skin looks after setting my face since 100% of the time I use this product.  I use it to bake my under eyes, bake my contour, and set my entire face. My skin doesn't look cakey or dry when I use this product. It leaves my skin looking flawless and helps prevent my concealer from creasing.  I do recommend if you are dry to not bake and just use this product to set everything because it can make you look dry if you do bake. I actually have combination skin so this product works perfectly for me ...

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99 ...
