Revlon Lash Potion Volume & Length Mascara

Hey guys!!!

I have been trying out a mascara for a while now and I am ready to say what I think of it. As much as I loved my Maybelline The Rocket Mascara I am really interested in trying other mascaras. I had a coupon to the Revlon Lash Potion mascara so I decided to try that one out! First can we appreciate the beautiful packaging??

I got it in blackest black and in waterproof. One thing I love is that even with this mascara being waterproof I can remove it really easy. With it being waterproof I would hope that my curl will hold all day, but sadly with this mascara it does not. I put my makeup on for work at 5:15am everyday and by the time I get home by 4pm my lashes have fallen back down. I rarely have time to go to the restroom to check on how long it lasts curled. Of course since it is waterproof it doesn't smudge for me at all. If you have stubborn lashes like me I can already say this is not a good mascara for you.

The website says that it "Magically transform lashes to lush, long and lustrous. A potion with strengthening proteins drenches lashes for volume. Triple-groove wand combs through for clump-free length." I agree with the volume and that it is clump free, but not so much the length. I already have long lashes and i didn't notice them any longer. I always do two coats of mascara and it didn't clump on me, but if you try a third coat that's when it started clumping a little for me.

Overall I think it is a okay mascara. I probably would love it more if the curl stayed all day. Have you guys tried this mascara?? What did you think of it?? What is you favorite drugstore mascara?? I am looking for another one to try out!

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox

Hey guys!!! I received the Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes and I was really excited cause I actually already loved using this product and I got a backup for it thanks to this box. #contest #HowDoYouTLSP I actually used to use the Invisible Loose Setting Powder and I really did enjoy it, BUT I think the Loose Translucent Powder is a little bit better.  You can check my Instagram:  theladypsyche and see how my skin looks after setting my face since 100% of the time I use this product.  I use it to bake my under eyes, bake my contour, and set my entire face. My skin doesn't look cakey or dry when I use this product. It leaves my skin looking flawless and helps prevent my concealer from creasing.  I do recommend if you are dry to not bake and just use this product to set everything because it can make you look dry if you do bake. I actually have combination skin so this product works perfectly for me ...

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99 ...
