Birchbox December 2014 Unboxing

Hey guys!!!

I am excited to show you this month's Birchbox because everything in it is a decent sample size. I got no foil packets this time around.

  • Acure Organics Sensitive Facial Cleanser- This probiotic formula nourishes delicate skin as it cleans. I most likely won't use this just because I am scared to change around my skin care routine at the moment, but I will be giving it to someone else.
  • Mirenesse Mattfinity Lip Rouge in Sydney- It is a velvety color with a matte finish. It says that a lip liner is not necessary. I have heard my friend talk about this brand so much that I am excited to try this out. I hope it doesn't dry out my lips because of the matte finish.
  • W3LL People Bio Brightener Stick- This is a high-performance, all-natural formula adds a flattering shimmer while nourishing skin. I have heard one of my favorite YouTubers, GlamourWonderland, talk about this brand and I am excited to try this out especially since I love a good highlight.
  • Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk in Natural Tint- Naturally tinted for brunettes and this absorbs grease and revives second day hair. I didn't think this product was tinted like the Batiste Dry Shampoo that I love. Hopefully I will love this one just as much.
  • Essential Elements Wake Up Rosemary Body Gel- It is a luxe cleanser that infuses skin with nourishing honey and softening Rosemary and mint oils. I am not sure if I will be using this one just because I am sensitive to scented shower gels and soaps. If I don't I will give it to someone else.
So that is all that I got in my Birchbox this month. I am getting excited to receive my Birchbox nowadays. If you are interested in getting this subscription just click here. It is $10 a month and it comes with sometimes deluxe sample sizes and sample sized products. I love their point system whenever you review the products you get points and later on you are able to purchase anything you want from their website.

Do you guys get Birchbox?? What did you get this month?? Did you like what you got??

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox

Hey guys!!! I received the Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes and I was really excited cause I actually already loved using this product and I got a backup for it thanks to this box. #contest #HowDoYouTLSP I actually used to use the Invisible Loose Setting Powder and I really did enjoy it, BUT I think the Loose Translucent Powder is a little bit better.  You can check my Instagram:  theladypsyche and see how my skin looks after setting my face since 100% of the time I use this product.  I use it to bake my under eyes, bake my contour, and set my entire face. My skin doesn't look cakey or dry when I use this product. It leaves my skin looking flawless and helps prevent my concealer from creasing.  I do recommend if you are dry to not bake and just use this product to set everything because it can make you look dry if you do bake. I actually have combination skin so this product works perfectly for me ...

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99 ...
