November 2014 Favorites

Hey guys!!!!

I can't believe it is already December the year has flown by!!! Anyways how was your Thanksgiving?? Mine sucked because I was sick, but that didn't stop me from Black Friday shopping!! What you guys end up getting??? Now on to my favorites....

  • Sephora Collection Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Color- I have it in the color Deep Plum and I been wearing this almost everytime I had went out this month which wasn't that much to be honest. I am in love with this beautiful vampy shade.
  • Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips-  I have been using this every night before bed and I am actually enjoying this. My lips are not chapped when I wake up. I received this from Birchbox so I don't know where else to get them from I might have to purchase the full size from there.
  • Jane Cosmetics Concealer- I had been using my concealers so much lately and this month it was the Jane Cosmetics one. This one doesn't crease as much on me like the NYX one. It has good coverage and a little goes a long way.
  • Laura Mercier Hydrating Foundation Primer- My holy grail primer! This helps hydrate my skin and helps make my foundation last longer.
  • Winter Candy Apple Lotion- This is my favorite holiday scent from Bath & Body Works. This is from last year, but before the holidays are over I will be buying backups.
  • BH Cosmetics Eyes on the 80's Eyeshadow Palette- I have really been enjoying doing a pop of color on my lower lash line and this palette has been perfect for it!
  • NYX Hot Singles Eyeshadow- I received this in my Ipsy bag and I have been loving using this cranberry color on my crease or on my lid. It is the perfect fall color and it is the shade Addiction.
  • Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow- I have been loving using the Bella Gold shade. I had been looking for a pretty gold shade to add to my collection and I finally found one.
  • BH Cosmetics ItsJudyTime Palette- For my neutral shadows I been loving this palette. Sadly it is now sold out and will not be sold anymore.
Those are my November Favorites!! What have been some of you guys favorites from this month??

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox

Hey guys!!! I received the Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes and I was really excited cause I actually already loved using this product and I got a backup for it thanks to this box. #contest #HowDoYouTLSP I actually used to use the Invisible Loose Setting Powder and I really did enjoy it, BUT I think the Loose Translucent Powder is a little bit better.  You can check my Instagram:  theladypsyche and see how my skin looks after setting my face since 100% of the time I use this product.  I use it to bake my under eyes, bake my contour, and set my entire face. My skin doesn't look cakey or dry when I use this product. It leaves my skin looking flawless and helps prevent my concealer from creasing.  I do recommend if you are dry to not bake and just use this product to set everything because it can make you look dry if you do bake. I actually have combination skin so this product works perfectly for me ...

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99 ...
