Laura Mercier Hydrating Foundation Primer

Hey guys!!!

I had been on the search for my holy grail face prime and I have tried so many samples from Sephora to find it. I tried Benefit, Smashbox, BareMinerals and nothing was working for me. I had tried the Smashbox Hydrating Primer and I thought that was the best one. Something told me to try the Laura Mercier one so I did.





I didn't have high hopes for it just because I haven't heard anyone that I watch or read talk about this product. It looks a lotion when I squeeze some out and its a very thin consistensy it applies almost like a serum to me.

A little bit goes a long way and it really does keep my skin hydrating especially during this time of year. I put it on even if I am not wearing makeup only if my skin is feeling dry one day. It even helps keep my Sephora Collection 10 HR Wear Perfection Foundation last longer. It isn't the longest lasting foundation on its own or with any other primer I tried before. The foundation wasn't lasting the whole work day for me, but with this primer it helps it last the work day and longer.

My holy grail foundation primer for sure. What are some of you guys favorite primers?? Have you guys tried this one or any other from Laura Mercier? What are some of your favorite Laura Mercier products?

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

Hey guys!!! I saw a review on YouTube on a new mascara and after seeing that I really wanted to try it out. I went and bought the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in waterproof. I LOVE the Maybelline The Rocket mascara and it is my holy grail, but I always love trying other mascaras and see if it is as good or even better than The Rocket.  I really love the wand because I am able to reach the lashes in my inner corner. One important thing to me in a mascara is if the waterproof formula will keep my lashes curled all day without them falling. I am happy to say that my curl stay up all day with this mascara. This is my second Maybelline mascara that I have tried and I am noticing that if I didn't have a good makeup remover it would be really hard to remove.  This mascara gave me a little bit of length and good volume. Nails of the Week

Hey guys!!! I decided to talk about what is on my nails for the week. I will be doing this a couple times a month since I like to change my nail colors frequently! I used China Glaze polish in the color Frostbite and on top i used the Wet n Wild Wild Shine glitter polish. I am not too sure what the name of it is, but it is my favorite glitter polish to use. This was my first time using a China Glaze nail polish, but I was kinda disappointed. I had to apply the color about 3-4 times for it to be this pretty bright color. If you don't have time to sit there and apply this many coats and wait for it to dry I don't recommend this color.  The upside about this nail polish is that it lasts on your nails without chipping. Normally mine start chipping after 3 days because I wash my hands so many times a day since I work with kids. Right now its the 6th day and I only have minor chipping.
