Face of the Day!

Hey guys!!

When I saw JamiePaigeBeauty and MrsLolalynn collab using Makeup Geek eyeshadows reminded me to use mine. I am glad I did because I love what I came up with and I loved it so much that I didn't want to take it off haha.

I started off with applying my eye primer and face primer. Face primer I am using the Laura Mercier Hydrating Foundation Primer and for eyes I used the Urban Decay Primer Potion. I forgot to add it in the picture, but I used my ELF Studio Eyebrow Kit to fill in my brows and set them with the ELF Brow Gel

I use the Makeup Geek eyeshadow in Creme Brulee in my crease as my transition shade and I blended it out till it looked seamless. I always love using a base all over my lid so I used Maybelline Color Tattoo in Inked in Pink.

Then I took the Makeup Geek eyeshadow in Cocoa Bear in the crease as well, but I made that the shade Creme Brulee was still showing at the top of my crease(I hope that made sense) I used the shade Mango Tango all over my lid.

I took the Makeup Geek eyeshadow in Corrupt and applied it to my outer-v and a little into the crease. Since it is a black I made sure to apply a little bit then blend it out and repeated that process till it was the intensity I wanted. I applied my winged eyeliner with the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper. I lined my waterlines with the NARS Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Via Veneto.

Now on to the face before I finish my eyes. I used my Sephora Collection 10 HR Wear Perfection Foundation in 33 Medium. I used the NYX Hi Definition Photogenic Concealer in Medium under my eyes, chin, above my lip, nose, and in between my brows to highlight my face and conceal my dark circles. I set my whole face with Mary Kay Transluscent Powder.

Back to the eyes. I used Cocoa Bear on my lower lash line and I blended it out. I decided to add Mango Tango on my lower lash line as well and I blended it with Cocoa Bear. I then decided a little bit of Corrupt and blended it all out. I really liked how warm my eyes look was. I take Makeup Geek eyeshadow in Shimma Shimma and highlighted my inner corner and my browbone. I curled my eyelashes and I used my L'OREAL Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara on my top and lower lashes.

Back to the face. I used the NYC Bronzer in Sunny to bronze up my whole face and the blush I used is the Makeup Geek blush in Summer Fling. The highlighter I used is from the That's Heart Eyeshadow and Blush Palette. I used it on top of my cheekbones, nose, chin, top of my lip, and middle of forehead.

Lastly the lips. I lined my lips with No Cosmetics No Bleeding Lips Secret Lip Liner and then I applied the Maybelline Matte Lipstick in Touch of Spice.

This is the final look. Sorry I didn't get more close ups of my eyes I am not good at taking close up pics. What are some of you guys favorite Makeup Geek products?? FYI make sure you check out the two ladies I mention if you love reviews and tutorials. I always enjoy their videos.

Whitening Lightning Color Your Smile Lighted Lip Gloss

Hey guys!!! Have you guys heard of  Jaclyn Hill ?? If not you have been missing out. She does the best make-up tutorials and recently she had a brush set with Sigma which I missed out on cause I couldn't afford it at the time. Then she announced she came out with her own lip gloss through Whitening Lightning and decided to go ahead and get this one even if it was a little pricey, but I saved up money for it. See how pigmented that color is?? This is the color Rose Hill and the website says it is a romantic and feminine hue. It is a beautiful rosy red color and I love it!! This gloss is amazing because first it has a mirror on the side. Just remember to remove the sticker that is on top of the mirror, but I haven't done that yet that's why it looks dirty on the picture. Secondly, when you open this gloss it lights up. So if you need to reapply when you are out and you don't have a mirror and/or you are in a dark place you are covered. Last but n

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99

Pssssst! Instant Dry Shampoo

Hey guys!!! I love love love the Batiste Dry Shampoo , but before I traveled back in October I had ran out and I didn't have time to buy more. I went into a drugstore and the only thing I found was a Pssssst! Instant Dry Shampoo so I decided to go ahead and try it out.  I honestly do not like this dry shampoo, but I don't hate it. This dry shampoo will get the job done. It sucks up all the oils in your hair and it will stay like that till the next day. I hate the smell of it. To me it turns me off to a product if it doesn't smell good. Also a couple days ago I sprayed some in and someone told me that one side of my hair is white. This is definitely a product that you need to brush it out after a few minutes of applying it to your hair. The white cast that it leaves behind also turn me off to this product. Overall this is an okay dry shampoo. I will be going back to Batiste as soon as this is done haha. Have you guys tried this product?? What do you think??
