BH Cosmetics That's Heart Eyeshadow and Blush Palette Review

Hey guys!!! I have always wanted to try BH cosmetics because I heard so much about them on Youtube. I started watching ThatsHeart in December and she released her own eyeshadow and blush palette with BH cosmetics.  When I saw the palette I was amazed! Look at all the gorgeous colors. Right when I first got it in the mail I swatched it immediately and I tried it out the next morning.  I was disappointed in a couple of the shadows when I swatched it. The bronzer, highlighter, and blush were amazing.  So the next day I tried out the purple color over primer and I was so disappointed with pigmentation. It was so bad that I decided to mix the pink and purple. The purple and pink color are both chalky on their own. It created a really pretty color combined. The very first color has chunky glitter and all of the colors have fallout! Just tap off the excess off of your brush and you will be okay. The darkest color is not as pigmented I would like it to be. I have to keep

February 2014 Ipsy Bag Review

Hey guys!! It's that time again!! It's ipsy bag time!! Last month was so eehhh for me, but this month was so exciting!! Here's why:  This month's make up bag is cute and simple. It didn't stink this month thank goodness. Let's start with the products inside the bag.  My most favorite product in this bag is the nail polish. I was really excited about this especially since this is my first ZOYA nail polish! I got mine in the color ODETTE. I hope you see the color on my nails since this isn't my best picture. I only needed two coats and it dried kinda fast. I will be getting more ZOYA polishes in the future lol. Next favorite product is the lipgloss. I got POP beauty lipgloss in the shade Fuchsia Freesia. The only thing I don't like is that it has a weird scent, but thankfully it doesn't linger once you apply it to your lips. I love the color it's a very pretty pink and it covers up my natural lip color for

Benefit's They're Real Mascara

Hey guys!!! I have been hearing about his mascara all over YouTube and lots of good reviews so I been wanting to try it! My birthday month was in December and I went into Sephora to get my birthday thing that they give out. It was this mascara and Watts Up from Benefit. I was so excited that I tried it out the very next day.  I was very very disappointed once I applied it! I always curl my lashes before I put on mascara. My lashes are long and extremely stubborn. As I am applying this mascara I can see in the mirror my lashes falling back down slowly. It's a very wet formula and I believe that was the reason why my lashes fell instantly.  I decided to wait a while and let it dry up a bit and see if that would help. I tried it recently and my lashes still fell but this time after 1 minute of having the mascara on. I guess that's an improvement?  I am probably going to give it to someone. So in conclusion this mascara was a big disappointment for me, because it

Affordable Way to Clean Your Brushes

Hey guys!! One thing I was never told when I first started with makeup is that you HAVE to clean your brushes because if you don't a lot of nasty bacteria can build up and can affect your skin. I would get breakouts a lot more often especially on my cheeks before I started cleaning my brushes.  I know not everyone can afford to buy any brush cleaner that will thoroughly clean your brushes. Well I am going to share with you guys an affordable way to clean your brushes using:  I learned about this on YouTube from Laura Harris and it has made such a difference. She deleted the video so I tried my best recording on my phone hopefully it will be helpful. Here I show you with an eyeshadow brush. You first wet the bar of soap, draw 8 on the bar numerous times, put the soap under the water to clean the shadow off of it, and just repeat 2 or 3 times. After that you put the soap down and then put your hand under the running water and draw 8 on your hand numerous times

Rimmel London Show Off Lip Laquers

Hey guys!!! For a very long time I didn't try out any lipstick or lipgloss because my lips are super stubborn and they get dry very easily. I found out about these Rimmel London Lip Laquers and I was really hesitant on trying these out, but I thought "forget it" and I decided to try them out once I received them. There are 13 available shades and I only have 3 to show you guys.  I have two kind of matte colors and one shimmery color. Here are the swatches: I have Celestial, Galaxy, and Big Bang.  One of my favorite things about these laquers is that they are very pigmented and also......hmm.... I am not sure how to explain it, but here's a picture: You guys see the hole in there?^ That holds a good amount of  product so you don't have to keep going into the tube to get more product. The first shade is in Celestial. I received this thanks to Influenster.  My lips are very pigmented already and this actually covered it up. I w

Aveeno ultra calming makeup removing wipes

Hey guys!!! I received the Aveeno makeup remover wipes as a gift! Finally I was able to stop using the horrible wipes that I was using before!! These wipes are amazing! They smell so good and everytime I take one out I have to smell it before I use it on my face. They are very moist and they remove most of my face and eye makeup. I always go with a cotton round with another makeup remover no matter which wipes I use just to make sure everything is off. I don't know if they remove waterproof mascara since I am not using one at the moment. Most IMPORTANTLY it did NOT break me out!  I looked online on walmart to see how much it was and it is around $7. I probably will purchase this myself later on down the line.

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99

Epielle Green Tea Cleansing Tissues

Hey guys!! I had ran out of my usual make up remover and my mom had bought some wipes from the grocery store, Fiesta, for $1. I wasn't going to go to the store till the next week so I decided to try these out. The only good thing about these wipes is that they have a decent scent. Now lets get into what I hate about these wipes. First, I have used other make up removal wipes before and they are very moist and its very easy to remove make up, however, these wipes are too dry for me. They are very rough on my skin no matter how gentle I try to be. Secondly, it doesn't remove your make up very well. I have had to use about 4 wipes to remove my make up. Other wipes I used I have used I only had to use 2 wipes. Last but not least, it actually BROKE me out!!!!! I have normal to dry skin and I don't break out too often and nothing I have ever tried on my skin has broken me out!! This gave me a new pimple everyday I used it! I don't recommend this for people with
