YSL VoxBox

Hey guys!!!

I have received yet another box complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes and I am excited for this one because it is another YSL product, but this time it is a makeup product. It is one of the new correctors that recently came out. I received the Green corrector.

The product is called the YSL TOUCHE ECLAT Neutralizer. This couldn't come at a more perfect time because I am dealing with lots of acne scarring and redness right now. I will hopefully not have any by the time summer, but that's not what this post is about.....on to the review....

This is very pigmented and blends out very easily on the skin. I love to blend it out with either a brush or a beauty blender. With the beauty blender it sheers the product out and with a brush you get more coverage.

It conceals my redness amazingly once I apply foundation and concealer of course and it lasts all day on the skin. It is very lightweight so it doesn't get cakey once you apply your face makeup. Also side note when I removed my swatch off my arm I saw some shimmer left behind. I never noticed that when it is on my face so that caught me off guard a little.

Overall, I really love this product. I am not sure if I will repurchase just because I want to try out other products, but that will be till over the summer or so because I am not wearing as much makeup at the moment.

Have you guys tried this product out yet? What do you think of it??
Thank you Influenster for this opportunity once again.

Birchbox February 2016 Unboxing

Hey guys!!!

Now to show you guys what I got in my Birchbox this month. Let's get right into it!

  • SkinClinical Extreme Healing Repair Concentrate- This is a paraben-free cream that treats severely dry, sensitive, itchy, wounded or chapped skin. My hands are always so dry because I wash my hands 10,000 times a day so this will be put to good use. It almost reminds me of my holy grail First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream so we shall see.
  • Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm- This is a moisturizing lip balm with a hint of color. I will try this once and I will see if my lips agree to this. I have tried so many and 98% of the time doesn't work and dries my lips out bad.
  • Marcelle NewAge 8 in 1 Power Serum- This lightweight anti-aging gel starts to work in one week. It provides 8 transformative benefits in one tube. As amazing as this sounds I will not be using this because I am on a strict skin care regimen with my dermatologist. I will be removing skin care from my list of things I wish to receive.
  • PARLOR by Jeff Chastain Detangling Leave-In Conditioner- Sweet almond extract detangles, delivers softness and sleekness, and adds volume. This came at a perfect time because I was just wondering what detangler to get because my hair has been really tangly recently. We shall see how this works.
  • Cargo Swimmables Shadow Stick- This is a smudgeproof and waterproof formula that glides on quickly without creasing. I am excited to try this out because I am loving the blush I got in a previous box and now I get to try another Cargo product!
That is what I go this month! What did you guys get this month?? Any new favorite products?? If you don't receive this are you interested? It is $10 a month for 5 deluxe sample sized or sometimes full sized products. If you want to find out more information go here.

February 2016 Play! By Sephora

Hey guys!!!

It is time for my Sephora Play! Box!!! It is a great box for you to get if you want to try things out from Sephora before actually getting a full size from there. I definitely wanted to get this box for that reason. You get skin care, hair care, and makeup in this box.

  • TOM FORD BLACK ORCHID- I have never tried anything from Tom Ford not even a perfume sample so I am glad to have this. I will probably never buy a full size of this if I end up loving it just because it is very pricey. The notes are black orchid, black truffle, black plum, noir gourmand accord, and patchouli.
  • MAKE UP FOR EVER Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick- I got it in the shade N9 and it is a copper pink with a satin finish. This is a very creamy lipstick with a shiny finish. We shall see how I like the formula and the color of this lipstick.
  • Bumble and bumble Pret-a-Powder- Now this is a product I am very excited about. This is a powder dry shampoo and I hear awesome reviews about this product all the time. I hear once you try this you can never go back to spray dry shampoo. We shall see. It is oil absorbing, provides volume, and extends your style.
  • bareMinerals Pop of Passion Lip Oil-Balm- I have never heard of this product before so I am excited to try this out and let you guys know what I think. It is a lip balm that treats lips to decadent hydration and plush color. My lips are stubborn with lip balms so hopefully this works out for me.
  • tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara- I also hear amazing things about this mascara and I have gotten it in other subscription boxes, but gave it away because it is not waterproof. I am going to try it on top of a waterproof mascara this time so hopefully it works out. It is a lengthening, volumizing, and conditioning mascara.
  • LANCOME DRAMA LIQUI-PENCIL Longwear Eyeliner- This is another product I hear great things about and again so excited to try it. It is an extreme, long-wear, high-intensity color liqui-pencil eyeliner. I have issues of eyeliners smudging on me or not lasting that long on my waterline so I hope this one will work for the price of this.

That is what I got this month. I actually really love this box and I won't be going to be giving away any of them. I can't wait to start trying these out!
What did you guys get in your box?? Did we get the same products?? If you have tried these products before which one is your favorite???
If you are interested in this box you have to get on Sephora's website and get on the waiting list. I believe they still have that and just be patient. I had to wait a few months so it is worth the wait in my opinion.

Luxie Beauty Rose Gold Brushes

Hey guys!!!

I have so many brushes in my collection, but I want to chat with you guys about my most favorite brushes. I discovered Luxie Beauty Brushes through Ipsy and I have been using them ever since. I had never heard of this brand till I got it in my Ipsy bag and then that is when I think people spoke about this brand more often.

After trying out that 1 brush that I got from Ipsy I really wanted to try out more and when I saw that they were not that expensive for good quality brushes I had to get a few more to test them out.

These brushes are all vegan, cruelty-free, hypoallergenic, paraben-free, and high quality. These are definitely high quality and are very soft to the touch. They are also all synthetic brushes. One thing that is very interesting to me is that it is coated with antibacterial solution.
These do NOT shed when I wash them and I wash them weekly because I am a big germaphobe and I can't deal with my brushes being dirty for too long.

I am going to show you every single brush and what I use it for.

Luxie 221 Flat Definer Brush

I see a lot of people use this on their lower lash line to apply shadow very close to the waterline and that is exactly what I do. I also use it to blend out that exact same shadow just a little bit so it won't look too harsh down there.

This is the brush that started it all. This brush blends eyeshadows like a dream and also this brush is perfect for my matte colourpop shadows. I even use it clean without any product to blend out my work in the crease.

Luxie 219 Eye Liner Brush

This is self explanatory. I use it for my gel liner and I love it. I get a beautiful wing liner with this brush. I also use this for my Mary Kay bold liquid liners because I don't like the wand on that product and this applies it beautifully.

Luxie 217 Pencil Brush

I already have a mini pencil brush, but I wanted a bigger one and this one was perfect. I like to use this in the crease, inner corner, and my lower lash line. It blends out shadow like a dream. I also love to use this brush for colourpop eyeshadows.

Overall, these are my holy grail brushes right here. These brushes are really great quality and perform amazingly. These are my go to brushes. I hear great things about their face brushes and I really want to try them out.

Have you guys tried these out??? What do you think?? What other brushes from this line do you recommend??

Sleek Makeup Face Form Contouring & Blush Palette

Hey guys!!!

Honestly I am always entering giveaways on YouTube and Instagram aanndd Superashley127 was having one a few months back. I entered like always and when she said I won I was sooo happy because she sent me products from Paris and other places she visited. One brand I can't go get in the store in Texas is Sleek Makeup.

I see quite a few YouTubers using the Sleek Face Form Contouring & Blush Palette and I had been wanting to try it out as usual. I was happy to see this product in this giveaway so I started using it as soon as I received the prize.

This is the shade Light. The reason why I wanted to try this product was because of the highlight. OMG you see that swatch? I will say that if you are not careful you will apply too much. I did that once and BAM EXTREME HIGHLIGHT! Don't get me wrong I LOVE a strong highlight, but it was actually too much for me. I recommend a light hand with it.

The bronzer in the palette I love the shade. It is not too dark or not too light. It is the perfect shade for me to contour/bronze my skin. The blush is almost an orgasm dupe only thing I believe this one is a little more pigmented than orgasm. That shade is one of my favorite shades of blush so I am glad to have this dupe in my collection.

These powders are very easy to blend. I had several mishaps with the highlight and the bronzer with me applying too much at 5:30am so all I do is grab my powder brush and it blends out nicely. I am so happy with this product that I am actually about to hit pan on the bronzer.
The highlight as pigmented as it is it looks like it has a pinky undertone and it looks weird on my skin tone. When I am in a hurry I will use it, but otherwise I will mix it with the blush so I can have a really beautiful glowy skin.

Overall, I really love this product. It is practically holy grail status and if I go into a Sleek store(in NYC) I will definitely repurchase this. Thanks to Superashley127 for sending me this product. If you guys haven't checked her out you totally should I am obsessed with her videos.

What are some of your favorite Sleek products?? What should I try next??

Eyeshadow Junkie Tag Collab with DUDEWHERESMYLIPSTICK

Hey guys!!!

I saw LipglossLeslie do the Eyeshadow Junkie Tag and I thought I should do that tag because it was very interesting to me. I also thought maybe I should find someone to do a collaboration with and then we do the tag together.

I am collaborating with DUDEWHERESMYLIPSTICK on instagram and her blog is http://dudewheresmylipstick.com/. I found her through instagram and I actually really enjoy her work. She does a lot more than I do and I feel like she does better at explaining herself with her reviews than I do. (I am still not 100% confident in my writing. It is a work in progress)
You guys should totally go check her out if you are interested in reviews for recent makeup releases or even letting you guys know about upcoming releases. Go and check out her blog for this tag as well. I can't wait to see what she came up with.

Now on to the Eyeshadow Junkie Tag.

  • Favorite Drugstore Line for Eyeshadows??- L'OREAL Infallible Eyeshadows. I have tried a handful of shadows from the drugstore, but these tho.......these will always be the best I have ever tried. I want to collect them all to be quite honest because they are that amazing. They have great neutral colors and great color shades as well.

  • Favorite Eyeshadow Primer??- My favorite one of the moment is the Milani Eye Primer because it actually controls my oils on my eyelid and my shadows doesn't crease throughout the day. It is a great drugstore primer.

  • First eyeshadow purchase & do you still use it??- I got eyeshadows for my 15th birthday, but technically I didn't purchase those. My first official eyeshadow purchase was the 88 Original Palette by Coastal Scents. It is rare that I use it nowadays, but I still do if there is a color that I am looking for in this palette.

  • Best Drugstore Eyeshadow Dupe??- I was able to find a dupe, but it is not an exact dupe. It is in the Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Remix Palette, the shade "love", and the Wet n Wild coloricon Sweet as Candy palette, the shade "Eyelid", The Kat Von D shade is a little darker than the Wet n Wild one, but still close I think. What do you guys think??

  • Most Underrated eyeshadow or eyeshadow Palette?? (what you hear about the least, but LOVE)- I love the BH Cosmetics Eyes on the 80's Eyeshadow Palette. I love using colors on the daily basis so if I need a certain shade I can always go to this palette for it. I always use a white base before using these shadows.

  • Favorite Single Eyeshadow??- My favorite single eyeshadow is Shaaanxo x Colourpop shadow in Deluxe. It is a beautiful bronze shade that I can wear anytime that I can't decide on what I want to do on my eyes. I don't use it as much since it is discontinued and I can't repurchase anymore...

  • Favorite Cream Shadow??- One of my favorites is the ELF Essential Smudge Pot in Back to Basics. I don't talk about it much, but when I want a gold eyeshadow look this is my go to for that. It lasts all day without creasing and my shadow, at the end of the day, looks like I just applied it. Great product for $3.

  • Favorite Neutral Eyeshadow??- My top favorite holy grail shadows are the ones in my BH Cosmetics ItsJudyTime Eyeshadow Palette and my Makeup Geek shadows. As you can see my ItsJudyTime Palette is very well loved and I have a backup. The neutral shades in this palette are so beautiful and blendable. My neutral Makeup Geek shadows are also well loved as you can see and again very beautiful and blendable.

  • Favorite Colored Eyeshadow??- My favorite colored eyeshadows are the Sugarpill Cosmetics Loose Eyeshadows. I have 3 of them and I definitely plan on getting more. These are so pigmented and amazing. They have 2 limited edition shades and I want to get them so bad.

  • BEST EYESHADOW PALETTE EVER??!!- The best eyeshadow palette is the Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Remix Palette. My most favorite palette in my collection because it has neutrals and colors so it has everything I would need in one palette. It is limited edition and I try not to use it too much because if I use it up I will be sad.

That is the Eyeshadow Junkie Tag. Anyone who wants to do this tag should go ahead and do it. Or even answer the questions in the comments. I am very curios on what you guys have to say.

Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Update

Hey guys!!!

I know I have already reviewed the Cream Lip Stain in the past, but I really wanted to do an update on this product just because my collection grew. I love these so much that I just HAD to start to slowly collect them all.

I haven't gotten them all yet, but I did get a good handful of them so I shall show you guys swatches.

As you can see I have different shades of this cream lip stain lipsticks and I love every single one so much. I even went out of my comfort zone and got the dark purple shade.

I already had the shade 01 Always Red and I actually am starting to run low on it so I will be getting a new one soon. It is a beautiful classic red and this is my go to red. The newest in my collection is the shade 03 Strawberry Kissed. This one a pretty pinky red and if I don't want a true red I will grab this one. These two would be my going out on a date go to lipsticks or any special occasion.

The next one is 12 African Violet. This one is like a pinky purple maybe almost lilac(great description I know). I don't have anything like this in my collection and I really like it. If I am wearing a neutral eye I will gravitate to this one.

Next is 13 Marvelous Mauve. It is just like the name says a beautiful mauve. I really wanted to get this one because I heard it was a dupe to Stila's Patina. I love this color with any makeup look that I do and it looks gorgeous.

The first darkest shade is 14 Blackberry Sorbet. I honestly got this because it was a dupe to one of the liquid lipsticks that Anastasia came out with that was limited edition. I think the shade was called Craft. I love using this with a bold eye or neutral eye and I am obsessed with this color.

Lastly. it is 15 Polished Purple. This color has a little bit of shimmer in it and I don't mind at all. This one you do have to do two layers for full opacity. Just make sure you let the first layer dry before you apply the second one. I didn't think I would love this color as much as I do and now it has sentimental value because my Fiance proposed to me while wearing this lippie.
I also use a lilac shade from Kat Von D in the center of my lips on top of this lipstick and creates a beautiful ombre purple lips.

Just a quick review these lipsticks: These are a moussy texture and it doesn't crumble on me just like other liquid lipsticks do. These last all day on me until I eat it comes off in the center, but they reapply nicely after you have eaten. Most importantly, my lips don't get horribly dry with these.

Overall, these lipsticks are holy grail for sure. Also, I always get complimented on these lipsticks anytime I wear them so that is a plus. Do you guys love these as much as I do?? If so, what is your favorite shade??

January 2016 Favorites

Hey guys!!!

I know I did my yearly favorites so these products won't be new, but I decided to do it anyways because I have been using a couple of products religiously the last two months.

  • Sephora Collection Bronzed and Blushing Face Palette- I have this product in my project pan and I didn't review this since it was limited edition from 2014 holiday season. These blushes are beautiful and pigmented. They last all day on my skin and blend beautifully. I know they came out with new formula on their blushes. I am sure they are even more amazing than these.
  • L'OREAL Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation- I was using a different foundation for a while and I realized it broke me out in the end(review coming soon) so I went back to this foundation. It was holy grail status! It would last all day and most importantly it didn't break me out.
  • NYX Cosmetics Dark Circle Concealer- This is definitely part of my everyday routine no matter what. Every morning I have huge bags under my eyes so this def helps to conceal them a little bit more.
  • It Cosmetics Tightline Full Lash Length Black Mascara Primer- This is a great lower lash mascara. My bottom lashes are nice and long. This formula doesn't flake or smudge even if I end up tearing up.
  • OFRA Cosmetics Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick- I love love these liquid lipsticks and I am always alternating each week so they're all a favorite this month. The one I used the most this month is the shade Santa Ana. It is a great everyday shade so if I am wearing a very bold look I can pop this on and I am good to go. If you haven't tried these you guys def should.
  • It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer- If you are looking for a full coverage concealer look no further. This is high coverage, but it is very thick. You have to make sure you set this concealer if not it will crease immediately.
  • Mary Kay At Play Bold Fluid Liners- I had these liners hiding in my collection, but recently I have been using these on a weekly basis since December. These last all day and doesn't budge even if I have cried or my allergies act up. Once this product sets it sets good. If you are interested in any colored liners you guys should try these for sure.
Those are all my January Favorites. What were some of your favorites from this month??
