Birchbox February 2016 Unboxing

Hey guys!!!

Now to show you guys what I got in my Birchbox this month. Let's get right into it!




  • SkinClinical Extreme Healing Repair Concentrate- This is a paraben-free cream that treats severely dry, sensitive, itchy, wounded or chapped skin. My hands are always so dry because I wash my hands 10,000 times a day so this will be put to good use. It almost reminds me of my holy grail First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream so we shall see.
  • Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm- This is a moisturizing lip balm with a hint of color. I will try this once and I will see if my lips agree to this. I have tried so many and 98% of the time doesn't work and dries my lips out bad.
  • Marcelle NewAge 8 in 1 Power Serum- This lightweight anti-aging gel starts to work in one week. It provides 8 transformative benefits in one tube. As amazing as this sounds I will not be using this because I am on a strict skin care regimen with my dermatologist. I will be removing skin care from my list of things I wish to receive.
  • PARLOR by Jeff Chastain Detangling Leave-In Conditioner- Sweet almond extract detangles, delivers softness and sleekness, and adds volume. This came at a perfect time because I was just wondering what detangler to get because my hair has been really tangly recently. We shall see how this works.
  • Cargo Swimmables Shadow Stick- This is a smudgeproof and waterproof formula that glides on quickly without creasing. I am excited to try this out because I am loving the blush I got in a previous box and now I get to try another Cargo product!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

Hey guys!!! I saw a review on YouTube on a new mascara and after seeing that I really wanted to try it out. I went and bought the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in waterproof. I LOVE the Maybelline The Rocket mascara and it is my holy grail, but I always love trying other mascaras and see if it is as good or even better than The Rocket.  I really love the wand because I am able to reach the lashes in my inner corner. One important thing to me in a mascara is if the waterproof formula will keep my lashes curled all day without them falling. I am happy to say that my curl stay up all day with this mascara. This is my second Maybelline mascara that I have tried and I am noticing that if I didn't have a good makeup remover it would be really hard to remove.  This mascara gave me a little bit of length and good volume. Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

 Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. Nails of the Week

Hey guys!!! I decided to talk about what is on my nails for the week. I will be doing this a couple times a month since I like to change my nail colors frequently! I used China Glaze polish in the color Frostbite and on top i used the Wet n Wild Wild Shine glitter polish. I am not too sure what the name of it is, but it is my favorite glitter polish to use. This was my first time using a China Glaze nail polish, but I was kinda disappointed. I had to apply the color about 3-4 times for it to be this pretty bright color. If you don't have time to sit there and apply this many coats and wait for it to dry I don't recommend this color.  The upside about this nail polish is that it lasts on your nails without chipping. Normally mine start chipping after 3 days because I wash my hands so many times a day since I work with kids. Right now its the 6th day and I only have minor chipping.
