March 2015 Empties

Hey guys!!! I know I still have lots of products to talk to you guys about, but I have lots of empties so I will tell you guys what I used up, what I think of it, and will I repurchase? Here are my empties: Black by Kenneth Cole Lotion-  My future sis in law gave me the set with the perfume and the lotion as a gift. I finished up the lotion and it was okay. I had been using it as my hand lotion throughout the day since it is not hydrating enough for my hands. I still have the perfume to use up, but I am almost there.  Klorane Dry Shampoo-  I received this in my Birchbox and I was really excited to try this out because I had heard so much great things about it. I ended up LOVING this product and it is my new holy grail dry shampoo. It is a natural dry shampoo with oat milk and it is a tinted one as well. It soaks up the oils and I can go 2-3 days without washing my hair. I will be getting full size in the future. Mary Kay TimeWise Replenishing Serum+C - I had be

Mirenesse Mattfinity Lip Rouge

Hey guys!!! A few months back in a previous Birchbox I received a sample of the Mirenesse Mattfinity Lip Rouge in the shade Sydney. I was excited and nervous to try out this product because I know not all liquid lipsticks work for me. The only one that has worked for me is the Sephora Cream Lip Stain and I'm happy that they came out with new shades.  As you can see it is a very decent sample size and when I swatched this on my hand I was really impressed but at the same time I expected it to be since most liquid lipsticks are. (one swipe) Everytime before using the Sephora Cream Lip Stain I exfoliate my lips and I apply lip balm so while I am doing the rest of my makeup my lips hydrate so I did the same thing before applying this lip product. Of course before I apply the lip product I remove the balm.  I used a brush to get the product on my lips just in case I would give it to anyone. For some reason it would apply very patchy, but once I got it to look

L'OREAL True Match Super Blendable Makeup

Hey guys!!! A long while ago I had been mentioning a new foundation that I was trying out and I had never brought it back up again till now. I know everyone and their mother has heard and spoken about this product, but all these foundations that I try or mention about it new to me. I had heard a lot about the L'OREAL True Match Super Blendable Makeup  from so many YouTubers and almost everyone loves it to death so I definitely was interested in trying it out. I sucked at choosing my shade in this foundation, but I got the shade N6 honey beige and it was a tad dark for me. One thing I do love about this product is that there are, according to the website, 33 shades available so a lot of you should be able to find your shade.  I applied this foundation with a brush and with a sponge, but I preferred the sponge. This product is medium to full coverage on me. When I first tried this product my skin was normal to dry skin and I didn't need to set it and it would l

Birchbox March 2015 Unboxing

Hey guys!!! I am very excited to show you what I received in my Birchbox this month. I think that each of these products in this box I will actually be using.  BeeKind Shampoo-  This shampoo is made with moisturizing honey extract and it will leave your hair soft and shiny. I been wanting to try out a all natural brand of shampoo and this one sounds very promising so we shall see. Cargo Swimmables Water Resistant Blush in Los Cabos-  This is a water resistant pigment that stays put and gives skin an effortless glow. I have never tried anything from Cargo Cosmetics so I am excited to see how this product works out. Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre (24-Hour Miracle Cream)-  This product is a makeup artist must have and moisturizer can be used as a primer and makeup remover. I have heard so many great things about this product so I can't wait to try it! Fekkai PrX Reparatives Instense Fortifying Masque-  This treatment repairs, protects, and smooths damaged or ti

Maybelline FIT Me Concealer

Hey guys!!! As you guys know I have been on the hunt for my holy grail concealer for a while now. I have tried the Jane Cosmetics Concealer and the NYX HD Photogenic Concealer , but those were just okay concealers. I have heard so much hype about the Maybelline FIT Me Concealer so I decided that it would be the next one I try. I got the shade Medium. This product in the picture is actually a repurchase sooo what you guys think that means?? I am IN LOVE with this concealer so much!!  This is so lightweight and such a thin formula that it doesn't look cakey once applied to the skin. It is very pigmented and for me it is full coverage. I have dark circles and it even gets dark in my inner corner, but because this is so thin I thought maybe this wouldn't cover up my darkness. I was so surprised that it covered everything. It blends like a dream whether I use a sponge or a brush, but I prefer the sponge.  (one swipe) This only creases VERY little, but if I

Smashbox On The Rocks Be Legendary Lipstick Trio

Hey guys!!! I have trying out some new lippies these last few weeks and now I can finally show you guys what they are. My good friend Angie gave me the Smashbox On The Rocks Be Legendary Lipstick Trio for my birthday(thanks girl) and I was so excited to try these out since I have never tried anything from Smashbox before. I almost didn't talk about these products because I thought maybe they were limited edition, but I checked on Sephora's website and the shades are there. (Left to Right: Primrose, Legendary, and Fig) This collection from Smashbox actually has both matte finish and hydrating cream finish. This trio is hydrating cream lipstick formula. The website says, " The cream shades are formulated with shea butter for lasting hydration and vitamins C and E to protect, leaving lips feeling ultra-soft with a lustrous finish." This product is very shiny when you apply it on the lips and it stays shiny the whole time till it fades away. With

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

Hey guys!!! You guys know my holy grail powder to set my face is Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder . I had purchased the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder before I received the Laura Mercier one since now my skin gets oily in my t-zone and I had it in the back of my collection because I loved the Laura Mercier one so much. Once I ran out of it I decided to pull this out and try it out.  I used two different brushes to apply this product and I prefer using the Real Techniques Powder brush because it is so fluffy and doesn't apply too much product. Even with this brush I have to be careful with the amount of product I put on because it can look very powdery.  I don't like this powder under my eyes to be honest. On me this makes my under eyes crease a lot more even with a concealer that doesn't crease on me at all(which I will talk about soon). It does keep me matte for 5-6 hours before having to apply more. I have my makeup on since 6am and I start getting

February Favorites 2015

Hey guys!!! It is now March and that means it is time for February Favorites. I honestly haven't been motivated to write recently mainly because I have been so exhausted from work. Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things because I have lots of things to show you guys. Now on to the favorites: NYC Sunny Bronzer -  I have been using this bronzer like crazy. It is a good bronzer for anyone who is starting out with makeup and it will not look dirty too quickly and you can build this up. Good bronzer for doing your makeup at 5am everyday haha. Shaaanxo Colourpop Eyeshadow-  I love all 4 eyeshadows, BUT my most used one this month is the shade Deluxe. It is a gorgeous bronze shade and I get compliments everytime I wear this eyeshadow. Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer-  I had stopped using this primer to test out another one that I also love and will talk about later. My skin is going crazy right now with the weather and this has helped a lot. I was even starting to
