Smashbox On The Rocks Be Legendary Lipstick Trio

Hey guys!!!

I have trying out some new lippies these last few weeks and now I can finally show you guys what they are. My good friend Angie gave me the Smashbox On The Rocks Be Legendary Lipstick Trio for my birthday(thanks girl) and I was so excited to try these out since I have never tried anything from Smashbox before. I almost didn't talk about these products because I thought maybe they were limited edition, but I checked on Sephora's website and the shades are there.

(Left to Right: Primrose, Legendary, and Fig)

This collection from Smashbox actually has both matte finish and hydrating cream finish. This trio is hydrating cream lipstick formula. The website says, "The cream shades are formulated with shea butter for lasting hydration and vitamins C and E to protect, leaving lips feeling ultra-soft with a lustrous finish."

This product is very shiny when you apply it on the lips and it stays shiny the whole time till it fades away. With all 3 of them you only need two swipes for full opacity.

(Left to Right: Primrose, Legendary, and Fig)
(Can you see the shine on these swatches??)

I do have to apply a lip liner before applying these lipsticks because if I don't it will feather a little bit. This only lasts about 3 hours on the lips and I do like that on my lips while it is fading it doesn't fade weird. After 3 hours I reapply and it still looks fine.

I do agree with what the website says. It is really hydrating on the lips the whole time you wear it. This product does feel a little sticky the entire time you are wearing it. If you love long wearing lipsticks or non sticky lipsticks then you will not like these. Also because they are so creamy they can get on your teeth so I always do the finger trick.

Overall I do love these lipsticks more for everyday use or for when I am only leaving the house for a few hours. I do however want to try out the matte formula and see if there is any difference. Now would I repurchase these? I think I might repurchase Fig and Primrose because I already have my top favorite red lippies in my collection I don't need more haha.

Have you guys tried out these lipsticks?? What do you think?? Have you guys tried out the matte formula?? Which one do you prefer matte or hydrating cream formula??

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox

Hey guys!!! I received the Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes and I was really excited cause I actually already loved using this product and I got a backup for it thanks to this box. #contest #HowDoYouTLSP I actually used to use the Invisible Loose Setting Powder and I really did enjoy it, BUT I think the Loose Translucent Powder is a little bit better.  You can check my Instagram:  theladypsyche and see how my skin looks after setting my face since 100% of the time I use this product.  I use it to bake my under eyes, bake my contour, and set my entire face. My skin doesn't look cakey or dry when I use this product. It leaves my skin looking flawless and helps prevent my concealer from creasing.  I do recommend if you are dry to not bake and just use this product to set everything because it can make you look dry if you do bake. I actually have combination skin so this product works perfectly for me ...

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99 ...
