March 2014 Ipsy Bag Review

Hey guys!!!!!

It's Ipsy Bag tiimmmeee!!!! Just like every month I was excited to receive this in the mail.

This is March 2014 bag:

Only thing is that we normally get 5 products every month, but this month we only got 4 products I have no idea why. Now on to the makeup bag:

I love the print it's really unique looking.

Enough talk on to the products. This time I'm going to start with my least favorite all the way up to my most favorite.

My least favorite is Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer.

I was really hoping to love this, buuutt I was disappointed. It is a very watery consistency and when I applied it to my face I was like "WHHAAATTT??!!! MY FACE!!!" I had shimmer all over my face, but I still wore it throughout the day and that shimmer was still on my face even after foundation. I was really uncomfortable wearing it. Maybe I will give it away to someone who will enjoy it.

Now the next product is NYX Love in Rio eyeshadow trio.

These eyeshadows on their own are not good at all. They are very chalky and very hard to work with. The swatches that you see on the picture is after applying the color several times to get the opacity that I wanted. I find these shadows work best over primer and a Maybelline color tattoo. I don't think I would purchase these on my own honestly there are other NYX products I want to try out.

Next product is BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie lipstick in Get Ready.

The scent of this lipstick is awesome!! Here's my attempt on trying to explain the scent: it is a vallina sweet lipsticky scent. (I hope i got it right lol) This color is gorgeous, its moisturizing, and doesn't dry out my lips at all. I have trouble finding good lipsticks that won't dry my stubborn lips. The color is a my lips but better color and I love it.

Last product is Chella Eyeliner Pen in Indigo Blue.

I love wearing eyeliner so I was excited to receive this. I love blue so I definitely was going to put this on ASAP. It is really easy to apply and once it sets it doesn't move.

Overall I love this month's Ipsy Bag. I hope next month it will have the usual 5 items. Every month its different products. Whitening Lightning Color Your Smile Lighted Lip Gloss

Hey guys!!! Have you guys heard of Jaclyn Hill ?? If not you have been missing out. She does the best make-up tutorials and recently she had a brush set with Sigma which I missed out on cause I couldn't afford it at the time. Then she announced she came out with her own lip gloss through Whitening Lightning and decided to go ahead and get this one even if it was a little pricey, but I saved up money for it. See how pigmented that color is?? This is the color Rose Hill and the website says it is a romantic and feminine hue. It is a beautiful rosy red color and I love it!! This gloss is amazing because first it has a mirror on the side. Just remember to remove the sticker that is on top of the mirror, but I haven't done that yet that's why it looks dirty on the picture. Secondly, when you open this gloss it lights up. Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end. I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99

Pssssst! Instant Dry Shampoo

Hey guys!!! I love love love the Batiste Dry Shampoo , but before I traveled back in October I had ran out and I didn't have time to buy more. I went into a drugstore and the only thing I found was a Pssssst! Instant Dry Shampoo so I decided to go ahead and try it out. I honestly do not like this dry shampoo, but I don't hate it. This dry shampoo will get the job done. It sucks up all the oils in your hair and it will stay like that till the next day. I hate the smell of it. To me it turns me off to a product if it doesn't smell good. Also a couple days ago I sprayed some in and someone told me that one side of my hair is white. This is definitely a product that you need to brush it out after a few minutes of applying it to your hair. The white cast that it leaves behind also turn me off to this product. Overall this is an okay dry shampoo. I will be going back to Batiste as soon as this is done haha. Have you guys tried this product?? What do you think??
