Maple Holistics Moisture Control Shampoo

Hey guys!!

Recently, I decided to go cruelty free with everything (I might do a post about this later on) I use in my life like skincare, makeup, fragrances, and etc. Unfortunately, skincare will not be as easy for me. My skin is going through some things right now.

During this switch I was looking for a perfect shampoo and conditioner and the brand Maple Holistics reached out to me to try out one of their products and I was excited to see that they were cruelty free, sulfate free, organic, and all natural.

They sent me the Moisture Control Shampoo.

This post is not sponsored they just sent me the product for free for testing purposes and for me to write about my experience with the product.

When I first received the product I smelled it as you do with everything haha. I loved the smell. This shampoo has lavender, carrot and parsley seed, silk peptide, jojoba and almond oils, and botanical keratin. I smell the lavender and it smells like legit lavender not an artificial scent.

This is what the website says about each ingredient for if you guys are interested:
"Lavender: Bulgarian Lavender of the highest quality oversees the combination of therapeutic properties used in this formula. Aid in softening minor blemishes resulting from dry scalp, defense against possible infections with antiseptic-/analgesis properties and reduction of scarring are all benefits this essential ingredient provides.
Carrot and Parsley Seed: Helps rejuvinates and regenerate skin with high levels of carotene and caratol. Also synergizes to stimulate cell growth, remove toxic build-up in the skin and improve complexion. Carrots help promote hair growth and add thickness to the hair. Because it is loaded with Vitamin A, it keeps the hair well-conditioned, shiny, and resilient. Parsley seed, on the other hand, help get rid of dandruff; it also makes the hair shiny and stimulates hair growth.
Silk Peptide: From the cocoon of the silkworm, eighteen different silk amino acids (including glycine, serine, and alanine) contribute superior moisture binding properties to improve moisture retention capacity while nourishing and balancing extra dry follicles. Thanks to its molecular mesh structure, it is the top choice in barrier creams and products for severely dry hair and skin.
Jojoba and Almond: These two gentle carrier oils are some of nature’s best ingredients to help smooth dry and irritated scalps. Almond has a range of nourishing elements, such as protein, vitamin E1, potassium, zing, and calcium, to name a few. It helps nourish the hair, repair the damage, reduce frequent hair fall, and help in the growth of new follicles. Jojoba, on the other hand, hydrates hair from the inside of the hair shaft.
Botanical Keratin: Hair nutrient deficiencies can sometimes stem from lack of keratin, which this natural ingredient generously replenishes. Botanical keratin molecules are known to coat the hair cuticle, leaving the hair saturated with keratin both inside and out. It also smoothen frizzy and unmanageable hair."

When I first used the shampoo I wasn't sure about what I would think of it cause once I rinsed the shampoo my hair felt rough for a min, but once I applied conditioner and rinsed it out my hair feels so smooth and soft and my hair smeellllsss sooo good.

After the first time using it my hair doesn't feel rough after rinsing it out anymore and this product is supposed to help with dry scalp and I feel like it does do that! I used to use Head & Shoulders for that type of problem and I feel that this shampoo is waayyy better than that!!!

My scalp used to itch after a couple of days of not washing it and now it doesn't do that anymore. This is my favorite shampoo now and I will be replenishing it once I use up all I have in my bathroom. I have many shampoos and conditioners and I been reaching for this one. That says a lot since I am always using something different.

Sorry for the long post its been a while haha.
Now if you guys are interested in trying this shampoo or anything from their website they have a free samples program and you can put in your information and which product you want to try and they will send you what you want.

Thank you Maple Holistics for reaching out to me and sending me the product and now I LOVE IT! Thanks to my readers for sticking with me life has been hard and I hope to keep posting more frequently. Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I only started following her

What Are AHA's??

Hey guys!!! AHA's(Alpha Hydroxy Acids) is water-soluble, exfoliates dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, reveals healthy looking skin, and it is suitable for all skin types. It helps stimulate collagen, hydrates the skin, brightens the skin, helps lessen skin texture, helps with acne scars, signs of sun damage, and dark spots. There are different types of AHA's out there.  Glycolic Acid Glycolic acid is the most well known and is used in skin care and is also used by a professional in a chemical peel.  It is either used alone in a skincare product or combined with another AHA ingredients at concentrations of 5% and up. It helps to enhance skin's firmness and resilience while softening signs of sun damage.  The size of this acid allows it to penetrate the uppermost layers of the skin to reveal better looking skin. Also it hydrates the skin, and basically helps the skin retain the natural moisture. Glycolic acid can be derived from sugar cane, but they only use the

What are BHA's??

Hey guys!!! The other day I spoke about AHA's and the different types of AHA's and now it is BHA's.  BHA's(Beta Hydroxy Acids) can get deeper into the pores to remove dead skin cells and excess sebum. It is oil-soluble so it allows it to penetrate deep into the pores and gently breaks up blockages that clogs your pores. That will help with lessening your acne and less visible pores. If you have blackheads, on your nose especially, it can help getting rid of them without damaging your skin like the Biore pore strips do. Also prevents new ones from forming. It could also help with Keratosis Pilaris(KP) in body washes or even body lotions/butters. BHA's are good for all skin types, but especially oily, acne prone skin. Salicylic Acid Salicylic Acid is the most well known out of all of them. It helps reduce acne by exfoliating the skin and keeping the pores clear. It helps with mild acne, blackheads and whiteheads, can help prevent future breakouts.  Tropic Acid, Tret
