Birchbox June 2015 Unboxing

Hey guys!!!

I apologize for posting this later than usual only because I wasn't as excited for this box as I normally am. I am more excited for next month's box and I can't wait to see what I get, but for now I am going to show you what I got this month.

  • Dr. Jart+ Premium BB Cream SPF 45+- Apparently this is a cult favorite and it provides light coverage, antiaging benefits, and has a high SPF. I am scared to try this out just because the SPF in it. I can break out because of it so I am not sure if I will try this.
  • Marcelle Waterproof Eyeliner- This liner is supposed to be blendable, go on smoothly, and last all day. I got the shade Mulberry. It is a pretty plum purple. We shall see if it is as long lasting as it is soon.
  • Shamanuti Activated Charcoal Cleanser- It is a charcoal based cleanser that is supposed to cleanse, purify, and exfoliate even the most sensitive skin. I already tried this and I will only use this on my t-zone because it really dried up my skin on my dry areas.
  • Sienna Naturals Moisturizing Leave-in Conditioner- It is an eco-friendly, toxin-free formula that is supposed to hydrate and smooth dry or damaged strands.I already tried this today and so far I am not a big fan. I don't feel like it hydrated my ends, but we shall see next time I try it.
  • Supergoop! Everyday SPF 50 with Cellular Response Technology- This is a lightweight sunscreen that provides SPF 50+. Again I am scared to use this one because I break out with SPF. I probably give this away to someone else.
  • Bonus: L. Erickson Narrow Grab & Go Ponytail Holder- Who can't use an extra ponytail holder? I don't know about you, but I am always losing them.
That is what I got in my Birchbox this month. It was an okay box for me this month, but still not horrible. The liner, cleanser, and leave in conditioner is what I was excited to try out.

What did you guys get this month in your box?? Are you guys excited for next month's box?

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Home Chef

Hey guys!!! Do you guys ever struggle to figure out what to make for dinner everyday?? Do you guys want to change it up every once in a while and try something new??  That was me a few months back and I ran across Home Chef in a YouTube video and I clicked on the link she had and I tried it out! They make it really easy for you! They send a a binder so you can use it to put all the new recipes that you receive for future usage. You go online to your account and they have about 15 different meals for you to choose from. You can either order for 2 servings or 4 servings. Also you can customize your account if you are vegetarian or have any allergies so they will not show you the meals that you are unable to eat. Each meal doesn't take long to do. It can take you about 30 minutes for you to do each meal. This was one of the first meals I made: Crispy BBQ Tofu The ingredients for each recipe comes in separate bags and are organized. Each ingredient is por...

Nails of the Week

Hey guys!!! I decided to talk about what is on my nails for the week. I will be doing this a couple times a month since I like to change my nail colors frequently! I used China Glaze polish in the color Frostbite and on top i used the Wet n Wild Wild Shine glitter polish. I am not too sure what the name of it is, but it is my favorite glitter polish to use. This was my first time using a China Glaze nail polish, but I was kinda disappointed. I had to apply the color about 3-4 times for it to be this pretty bright color. If you don't have time to sit there and apply this many coats and wait for it to dry I don't recommend this color.  The upside about this nail polish is that it lasts on your nails without chipping. Normally mine start chipping after 3 days because I wash my hands so many times a day since I work with kids. Right now its the 6th day and I only have minor chipping. Maybe I will try another color in this brand soon. You guys have any recommendatio...
