ELF Studio Baked Highlighter

Hey guys!!! I have been on the search for a good powder highlighter and when I saw Ashley aka SuperAshley127 and Kathleen aka KathleenLights on YouTube talk about the ELF baked highlighters I knew I had to try them out. I found out they were $3 and I was sold.  There was 3 shades to choose from, but I decided to go with Moonlight Pearls. I already have somewhat of a bronze highlighter which I will talk about later and I heard that Moonlight Pearls is a dupe to Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm so that's why I went with this one. I had been wanting The Balm's highlighter for a while and I thought why not this one? It is a gorgeous champagne color and when I swatched this in store I was impressed at how pigmented it was.  (Left: Dry Right:Wet) Could you die at this pigmentation though?! I love the beautiful glow it gives to my cheekbones. Depending on my mood I will apply it wet or dry.  When I use it wet I spray my brush with the ELF Makeup Mist ...

Birchbox April 2015 Unboxing

Hey guys!!! It is time to show you guys what I have received in my Birchbox this month. As always I am so excited to receive this subscription service every month and like I always say they have been stepping their game up lately. To think I almost cancelled this, but I am glad I didn't. Can we take a moment and appreciate this box?! It is beautiful I will def be keeping this one! Jouer Tint - I have always been wanting to try out the brand Jouer, but I never was able to till now. This is a small sample I will admit, but it is enough for me to tell if I will love the product or not. It is tint that you could use on your lips or on your cheeks. I am not sure if I will use it on my cheeks though because my cheeks can get oily. Whish Shave Crave Shaving Cream - I tried their body butter that I received from Birchbox before and I loved it. I have never tried a shaving cream since I am always using a shaving gel, but I heard shaving creams are better so I am excite...

Milani Rose Powder Blush

Hey guys!!! I have been wanting to try out more products from Milani especially after trying out their amazing Bella Eyes Eyeshadows . I had heard so much about these blushes from YouTube and they were great reviews so I had been itching on trying these. When I saw that Milani was having a giveaway which included a blush and a lipstick so I entered it just for the heck of it. I was so excited when I got the email telling me that I have won!  I got the Rose Powder Blush in the color Coral Cove and I was glad I got this color since I don't have a color like this in my collection. Can we appreciate the rose detail on this blush??! I am scared to continue using this blush because of it and I know I am not the only one haha. (heavy swatch) When I first swatched it I was a little disappointed because it swatched a little patchy, but I still wanted to give it a chance on my cheeks before making my mind up about it. After the first time it doesn't swatch patch...

Sephora VIB Sale Mini Haul

Hey guys!!! I wasn't going to do this post, but I decided to show you guys what I got even though I didn't get as much as I wanted. I really limited myself to 4 things and that's what I did. I am proud of myself that I was able to do so cause as you all makeup addicts out there know we want everything we see in sight haha.  Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm - I had been looking around for a holy grail eye cream and I kept getting samples from Sephora to try them out so I can see which one to get during this sale. Out of all of them I tried this one was the best one so we shall see if I continue to love it as time goes on. Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder - As some of you know I had received a sample size of this product in my Ipsy bag before they starting sucking so bad for me and I fell in love. I love using this powder to set my under eyes and it doesn't crease at all. I love that I don't look powdery when I set my face as well. This is ...

IMATS NYC Haul!

Hey guys!!! I know it has been a while since I last posted, but my motivation just wasn't there anymore. I was always tired from work because work has been hectic and exhausting. Also I had a writer's block and I just couldn't do it. I went to IMATS this past Saturday and I got motivated again. I met a couple of my favorite YouTubers and I fangirled really hard! I got a few things from there and I wanted to get some from Morphe's booth, but the line was so freaking long I was like NO THANKS! I am just showing you guys what I got there and a few gifts I got from my friends as well. Sorry my pictures are a little blurry I am losing my touch, but I will do better on my next post. Those are all the things I got and as you can see I went crazy at the NYX booth haha. I am very excited to try everything out and let you guys know in the future what I think of everything. Thank you guys for sticking around and being patient with me. I am back and I c...

March 2015 Empties

Hey guys!!! I know I still have lots of products to talk to you guys about, but I have lots of empties so I will tell you guys what I used up, what I think of it, and will I repurchase? Here are my empties: Black by Kenneth Cole Lotion-  My future sis in law gave me the set with the perfume and the lotion as a gift. I finished up the lotion and it was okay. I had been using it as my hand lotion throughout the day since it is not hydrating enough for my hands. I still have the perfume to use up, but I am almost there.  Klorane Dry Shampoo-  I received this in my Birchbox and I was really excited to try this out because I had heard so much great things about it. I ended up LOVING this product and it is my new holy grail dry shampoo. It is a natural dry shampoo with oat milk and it is a tinted one as well. It soaks up the oils and I can go 2-3 days without washing my hair. I will be getting full size in the future. Mary Kay TimeWise Replenishing Seru...

Mirenesse Mattfinity Lip Rouge

Hey guys!!! A few months back in a previous Birchbox I received a sample of the Mirenesse Mattfinity Lip Rouge in the shade Sydney. I was excited and nervous to try out this product because I know not all liquid lipsticks work for me. The only one that has worked for me is the Sephora Cream Lip Stain and I'm happy that they came out with new shades.  As you can see it is a very decent sample size and when I swatched this on my hand I was really impressed but at the same time I expected it to be since most liquid lipsticks are. (one swipe) Everytime before using the Sephora Cream Lip Stain I exfoliate my lips and I apply lip balm so while I am doing the rest of my makeup my lips hydrate so I did the same thing before applying this lip product. Of course before I apply the lip product I remove the balm.  I used a brush to get the product on my lips just in case I would give it to anyone. For some reason it would apply very patchy, but once I got it to ...
