October 2014 Empties

Hey guys!!!

Time for another empties post! I have used up quite a few products recently and I will be showing you what I used up. I will also be reviewing if I will repurchase them or not and why.

  • TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Leave-In Spray- This was an awesome heat protectant spray. It was less than $3 and it leaves my hair feeling soft after I straighten it. I won't repurchase this one just because I love the L'Oreal one better.
  • Batiste Dry Shampoo- I LOVE this product it is my holy grail and I was sad when I ran out. This gives me a little volume and really sucks up all the oils from my hair on my 3rd day hair. I will def repurchase this.
  • First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream-  HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT! I wash my hands like 10,000 times a day and my hands get really dry so I like to use this every night so my hands can soak up the moisture overnight! I was sad when I ran out especially since I won't be repurchasing right away. I have other lotions to go through before I do.
  • Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips- I do love these strips and I will most likely repurchase these again unless there is a better product out there. Do you guys recommend anything??
  • LORAC POREfection Mattifying Face Primer- I actually finished this a long time ago it was just chillin in my drawer for so long. I don't even remember what I think of this product. One thing I do remember is that a little goes a long way.
  • Boscia Clear Complexion Kit- I had bought this to see if my skin will enjoy these products. The cleanser is gentle on my skin, but the only thing is my skin does get more dry after using this. I did repurchase a full size because it was so gentle, but I might return it and get something else just because I don't really see much of a difference in my skin. The Clear Complexion Tonic I love. I will always keep this in my skin care routine I think. It makes my skin feel fresh and doesn't irritate it. Clear Complexion Treatment is also nice and doesn't irritate my skin. I don't know if I will keep this one in my skin care routine once again I don't see much of a difference with my skin. Clear Complexion Moisturizer I hated. It didn't moisturize me much so I didn't repurchase.
  • Ulta Eye Brow Gel- I got this as a gift from someone and I did enjoy it. It helped my brow product last all day, but it didn't control my crazy brow hairs.
  • The Body Shop Mini Coconut Body Scrub- I heard that using a body scrub is good for your skin and when I saw that the body shop was having a sale I decided to try it out. It makes my skin feel so soft after using it and I will def repurchase.
  • NARS Eyeshadow Duo- I got the Stage Beauty duo from my cousin a long time ago and I loved it. I used it alllll up and I would repurchase a different duo, but I can't get myself to spend so much money.
  • Vitamin E Lip Care Stick SPF 15-  I am in search of my holy grail lip balm and this was NOT it! It dried my lips so bad! Instead of helping my lips it made it worse.
  • Mini Strawberry Body Butter- I enjoyed this body butter it really moisturized my skin especially my really dry areas. I hope to repurchase this one soon.
  • Revlon Lash Potion Volume & Length Mascara- It was a nice mascara, but I would not repurchase this. I still love the Maybelline The Rocket. It was a nice everyday mascara it gave me nice volume, but not too much length.
  • Make Up Forever Aqua Eyes- I got this sample from Sephora and I am still searching for my holy grail eyeliner for my waterline. This liner didn't irritate my eyes whatsoever, but it didn't last on my waterline all day especially on the days that my eyes got watery. I wouldn't repurchase this because of that.
  • OFRA Universal Eyebrow Pencil- I received this in my June Ipsy bag and ever since I can't stop doing my brows. This pencil lasted me a long time and it was amazing. I am not sure if it is holy grail status just because I want to try out more brow products before I make that decision.
Those are all of my empties. What have you guys used up and will you repurchase it?

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99 ...

Home Chef

Hey guys!!! Do you guys ever struggle to figure out what to make for dinner everyday?? Do you guys want to change it up every once in a while and try something new??  That was me a few months back and I ran across Home Chef in a YouTube video and I clicked on the link she had and I tried it out! They make it really easy for you! They send a a binder so you can use it to put all the new recipes that you receive for future usage. You go online to your account and they have about 15 different meals for you to choose from. You can either order for 2 servings or 4 servings. Also you can customize your account if you are vegetarian or have any allergies so they will not show you the meals that you are unable to eat. Each meal doesn't take long to do. It can take you about 30 minutes for you to do each meal. This was one of the first meals I made: Crispy BBQ Tofu The ingredients for each recipe comes in separate bags and are organized. Each ingredient is por...
