Makeup Geek Eyeshadows

Hey guys!!!

I love Makeup Geek products as you know. I have spoken about their eyeshadows, blushes, pigments, and foiled shadows already. I decided to talk about an update of their eyeshadows since I have bought a lot more. I don't buy them all at once though. I buy one at a time.

  • Corrupt- It is an intense matte black with subtle shimmers. This is the blackest black ever. I could actually swatch it 3 times before it runs out of pigmentation. You do have to be very careful with it because if you are not it can be a disaster to blend. I do love this shade I will repurchase when I run out.
  • Cocoa Bear- As you can tell I love love this color since I hit pan already. It is a gorgeous matte reddish brown and I love using it on my crease and also all over my lid. I get compliments on this shade all the time. I will be repurchasing right before I run out. This is a great everyday shade.
  • Prom Night- I am not sure how to describe this shade, but on the website it says a pale purple with a hint of gray and a shimmery finish. I had seen I believe it was SuperAshley127 use it in a tutorial and I thought I need that in my life. This is a gorgeous cool tone shade and it is beautiful all over the lid.
  • Bitten- Another one of my favorite shades. It a gorgeous matte maroon red. I love using it on the crease and all over the lid as well, I almost hitting pan on this one and I will be repurchasing once its gone.
  • Simply Marlena- This one is my least favorite. I actually do love the shade, but you do have to build this one up to get the intensity that I want. The website says it is a rosy pink with purple undertone and gold flecks. I probably won't repurchase.
  • Homecoming- This is a gorgeous brown with gold shimmer. I love doing a brown smokey eye with it. I will repurchase this one once I use it up.
  • Poppy- This is a gorgeous matte orange. I have used it on my crease and on my lid. I love using it both ways. I don't have an orange like this in my collection so when it was released I needed it in my life. I will repurchase once I run out.
  • Mango Tango- Another one of my favorite shadows. It is a peachy pink with gold flecks. Actually my favorite way to use this shade is in my crease. I am close to hitting pan so I will repurchase this.
Before I forget Makeup Geek products are Talc and Paraben free. I love love Makeup Geek and will always purchase from her. I am so curious about the new DuoChrome eyeshadows and pigments and I have maybe 2 I really want. I will get them soonish.

There is no fallout for me with these eyeshadows. Most of them are very pigmented and they are all blendable.

Have you guys tried out Makeup Geek?? What are your thoughts on the products??

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox

Hey guys!!! I received the Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes and I was really excited cause I actually already loved using this product and I got a backup for it thanks to this box. #contest #HowDoYouTLSP I actually used to use the Invisible Loose Setting Powder and I really did enjoy it, BUT I think the Loose Translucent Powder is a little bit better.  You can check my Instagram:  theladypsyche and see how my skin looks after setting my face since 100% of the time I use this product.  I use it to bake my under eyes, bake my contour, and set my entire face. My skin doesn't look cakey or dry when I use this product. It leaves my skin looking flawless and helps prevent my concealer from creasing.  I do recommend if you are dry to not bake and just use this product to set everything because it can make you look dry if you do bake. I actually have combination skin so this product works perfectly for me ...

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99 ...
