Project Pan

Hey guys!!!

I have been watching Ashley Elizabeth's videos on Project Pans and I was so intrigued to doing that myself since I have a lot of stuff as well. Probably not as much as she does, but enough to get overwhelmed sometimes.

There are some things that I am not a fan of that I just want to use up to get it out of here or just things that are getting old and need to go soon. Also thing I do like, but I have something that I like better in my collection.

I am going to show you guys the things I am going to work on using up and then a few weeks later show you my progress, and let you know if I will repurchase. Almost like an empties, but not quite.

Here are a few things I am trying to use up. I will review a couple of things in a couple of weeks, but the others I have reviews of already.

  • Milani Eyeshadow Primer- I have had this for a while and I actually am loving it. If you need a good eye primer you should try this one out. My eyeshadows lasts all day and doesn't crease. I have new primers to try, but I am waiting to use this up before opening new ones.
  • NYX Round Lipstick- I have gotten this off of Hautelook with 3 other shades. The one I want to use up is in 517 Hades. I don't do this color nude at all, but I always use a pink or brown lip liner to change the shade. I want it gone from my collection and I will not be repurchasing because it isn't my favorite formula or shade.
  • Clinique Cream Shaper for Eyes- I went to a Clinique event with a friend and we got a few things for free to try out and this liner was one. The shade I got is 101 Black Diamond. I am testing this out so we shall see how I like. It has some shimmers in it, but you can't really tell on the waterline. I have so many eyeliners to use up so this one was next on the list.
  • Physicians Formula Shimmer Strip- I got this product a long time ago during a CVS sale and I neglected it for a while, but decided to start using this up. I got the shade Riviera Strip/ Sand Bronzer. I have a while to go! I wonder how much I use up in the next few weeks. I do enjoy this product though. I love a good highlight.
  • Sephora Bronzed and Blushing Face Palette- A friend got me this last year during the holidays and as you can see I have given it some love. The shades in it are Los Cabos Bronzer, Blushing Pink Blush, and Coral Punch Blush. I have already used up the bronzer as you can tell and now I am working on the blushes. I do love this palette, but I have too many blushes. That is why I am working hard on this one.
  • Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencils- I got these last year during Christmas time and it is time to use these up especially since I already got this years set similar to this one. I am using up Rhubarb and Sable. My most favorite is Rhubarb it is a pretty pinky nude and Sable is my least favorite because it is too nude for my liking. These lip products are some of my favorite formulas out there.
  • Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder- I received this in a 500 point perk and I was excited to try out more Laura Mercier products. I got the shade Bronze-03. I am still testing this product out so I can't say if I love it yet, but I am liking it so far.
Those are the products I will be trying to use up in the next few weeks. Are you guys doing a product pan?? If so, what products you trying to use up???

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I only started following her

What Are AHA's??

Hey guys!!! AHA's(Alpha Hydroxy Acids) is water-soluble, exfoliates dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, reveals healthy looking skin, and it is suitable for all skin types. It helps stimulate collagen, hydrates the skin, brightens the skin, helps lessen skin texture, helps with acne scars, signs of sun damage, and dark spots. There are different types of AHA's out there.  Glycolic Acid Glycolic acid is the most well known and is used in skin care and is also used by a professional in a chemical peel.  It is either used alone in a skincare product or combined with another AHA ingredients at concentrations of 5% and up. It helps to enhance skin's firmness and resilience while softening signs of sun damage.  The size of this acid allows it to penetrate the uppermost layers of the skin to reveal better looking skin. Also it hydrates the skin, and basically helps the skin retain the natural moisture. Glycolic acid can be derived from sugar cane, but they only use the

What are BHA's??

Hey guys!!! The other day I spoke about AHA's and the different types of AHA's and now it is BHA's.  BHA's(Beta Hydroxy Acids) can get deeper into the pores to remove dead skin cells and excess sebum. It is oil-soluble so it allows it to penetrate deep into the pores and gently breaks up blockages that clogs your pores. That will help with lessening your acne and less visible pores. If you have blackheads, on your nose especially, it can help getting rid of them without damaging your skin like the Biore pore strips do. Also prevents new ones from forming. It could also help with Keratosis Pilaris(KP) in body washes or even body lotions/butters. BHA's are good for all skin types, but especially oily, acne prone skin. Salicylic Acid Salicylic Acid is the most well known out of all of them. It helps reduce acne by exfoliating the skin and keeping the pores clear. It helps with mild acne, blackheads and whiteheads, can help prevent future breakouts.  Tropic Acid, Tret
