R+Co DEATH VALLEY Dry Shampoo

Hey guys!!!

I know I recently spoke about a hair product so I thought why not talk about another one so I can keep changing it up. There is such a thing as too much makeup talk.........NAH! It will continue, but for now it is time for some hair.

I received the R+Co DEATH VALLEY Dry Shampoo in my August 2015 Birchbox. To be honest I didn't have high hopes of this product just because I have never heard of this brand ever. The packaging for some reason threw me off  as well. One of the reasons why I love subscription boxes you get to try out things you never heard of before.

I always spray my dry shampoo right before I do my makeup so that way when I am done I can go to the bathroom and brush my hair. At first when I spray you see the white cast, but once I go to brush it out it is gone. It absorbs my oils while I do my makeup and the white cast disappears with it.

I was very impressed with how quickly it absorbs my oils. This reminds me a lot of my two other holy grail dry shampoos, Batiste and Klorane, and now this is a holy grail one. The only thing is that it is $29 and I don't know if I will spend the money on it.

If I spray dry shampoo after I am ready and I need to leave I will brush it out and it still does a great job absorbing my oils. It smells decently, but not the best smell. I tolerated it because it is such a great product.

Overall I love this product and I will probably repurchase in the future when I feel like splurging. I was blown away with this product. It goes to show you don't judge a book by its cover. Have you guys tried out this product or anything from this brand?? What do you guys recommend??

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

Hey guys!!! I never ever ever ever used a bronzer or even knew what it was for till of course I started watching YouTube beauty videos. Thanks to my good friend Merlin for giving me a gift card to Sephora I was able to purchase this little sample set. I am going to do separate reviews for each product and I have already done one for the  Shadow Insurance Primer  and the others will be coming soon. Today as you already know I will be talking about the bronzer. I was excited to FINALLY try this since it's really raved about on YouTube. I am always grabbing this and smelling it a lot whenever I am at home haha. It is made out of cocoa powder and it smells like chocolate!!! MMMM!! They only have two shades and I got the shade Medium/Deep. Here's the swatch: I recently tried a shimmery bronzer and this one and I gotta say I prefer a matte bronzer the best! I only bronze my face with this since I suck at contouring and I don't think I have the right brush for co...

Nails of the Week!!

Hey guys!!! I had trouble deciding on what to put on my nails this week, but after 5 minutes I finally went with... Julep in the color Farrah and.... Revlon in the color 761 Scandalous. The Julep polish is a pretty purple grayish color. It was two coats opacity and usually the polish last me about 3-4 day without chipping depending on what I am doing. The Revlon polish I used it last week for the first time and I was impressed with it. It lasted 5 days before it finally chipped and that was my fault I was doing laundry and I hit my finger somewhere and for some reason that chipped my nail. I loved it so much I had to use it again this week.  If you wish to try out the Julep polishes it is a subscription for about $19.95 I believe a month. You can get your first box free if you just want to try it out once to see if its worth your money by using the code FREEBOX. Just click  here  and check it out.
