Face of the Day!

Hey guys!!

This past weekend I did a makeup look that was inspired by the beautiful Casey Holmes. I was in Sephora and I got lots of compliments that day. I decided to go ahead and write about this look because I loved this look and I didn't even want to take off my makeup.

I always love to start with the eyes whenever I do my makeup because I know I am going to make a mess, I always do no matter what, so that way I can clean it up if needed. I always use a primer so this day I used the Urban Decay Primer Potion and then I used the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. I primed my face with the Too Faced Primed and Poreless Face Primer. Back to the eyes. I used the ItsJudyTime Eyeshadow Palette. The shadows I used was the first color on the first row on my brow bone, the second color on the first row as a transition shade on my crease, and last I used the first color on the second row as my lid color. I put eye drops on my brush to intensify the copper color and I loved how it turned out.

Next I went to my Coastal Scents Palette to use a brown color on my outer corner of my eye and blend it a little bit into the crease. Don't forget that the most important thing to do so any eye look you do will look gorgeous is BLEND BLEND BLEND! I didn't used to do it and it was a mess. I then used the Jordana FabuLiner Liquid Eyeliner to do my eyeliner of course.

Back to the Face. I used a new foundation and I decided to keep it a surprise so keep a lookout for that review. I used the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer to bronze up my face and for blush I used the Mary Kay Blush in Shy Blush. I honestly don't need a highlight with this blush since it makes my cheeks look really glowy and beautiful. I go back to the eyes. I used the NYX Slide On Pencil on my waterline and tightline. I go back to my Coastal Scents Palette and used a gorgeous blue from it on my lower lash line and blended it out really well.

I then used my Maybelline The Rocket Mascara and lastly for eyes I went to my That's Heart Eyeshadow and Blush Palette to use the highlighter in my inner corner of my eye.

For my lips I used the NYX Creamy Round Lipstick in 517 Hades and topped it with my POP Beauty Lipgloss in Fuchsia Freesia. Now this is the completed look:

What do you guys think?? I didn't have the exact products Casey used, but I made it work with what I had in my collection. If you want to see her video go here. Would you guys try out this look??

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox

Hey guys!!! I received the Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes and I was really excited cause I actually already loved using this product and I got a backup for it thanks to this box. #contest #HowDoYouTLSP I actually used to use the Invisible Loose Setting Powder and I really did enjoy it, BUT I think the Loose Translucent Powder is a little bit better.  You can check my Instagram:  theladypsyche and see how my skin looks after setting my face since 100% of the time I use this product.  I use it to bake my under eyes, bake my contour, and set my entire face. My skin doesn't look cakey or dry when I use this product. It leaves my skin looking flawless and helps prevent my concealer from creasing.  I do recommend if you are dry to not bake and just use this product to set everything because it can make you look dry if you do bake. I actually have combination skin so this product works perfectly for me ...

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99 ...
