Face of the Day!

Hey guys!!!

I did another YouTube beauty guru inspired makeup look today! This time around I did a Amanda Ensing inspired makeup look. She does amazing tutorials you all should check her out!

I started off with putting on the Too Faced Primed & Poreless Face Primer on my skin so it can sink into my skin while I do my eye makeup. I put on my Milani eye primer and while that sets I lined my water line and tight line with my Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes Eyeliner in black of course. I also used the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil  in Milk for some reason I don't know why. Now on to the eyeshadows. I go to my Coastal Scents Eyeshadow Palette and i use a light brown on my crease as my transition shade and right after I blend that out I went with a darker brown all over my lid and I blended that out like crazy.

Next I decided to use my Mary Kay Gel Eyeliner in black to line my upper lash line and do a small wing. After that I decided to do my face and come back to the eyes later. Just like my last face of the day I am still trying out that same foundation I will have my final thoughts in the next 2 weeks or less. I used my Jane Cosmetics concealer in light under my eyes, chin, nose, and in between my brows. I set all of my face makeup with my Mary Kay Translucent Powder and now on to my cheeks. I used Mary Kay bronzing powder in light medium on my cheeks, but I went with my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer on the rest of my face to bronze up my skin.

I got my That's Heart Eyeshadow and Blush Palette to use the blush on my cheeks of course. I went back to my eyes and grabbed my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil again to put it on my lower lash line so the color I put down there will pop. Back to my Coastal Scents palette I used a pink color on my lower lash line and blended it out. Back to the That's Heart Palette I used the highlighter from there to highlight the inner corner of my eye.

Last eyeshadow I used is a matte white from my Coastal Scents palette under my brow bone. I filled in my brows, but I will talk about the product I used soon. I used my Whitening Lightning lip gloss in Rose Hill on my lips of course.

This is the video where I got the inspiration from: http://youtu.be/komtSzc6NAI and just like my last face of the day I don't have the products she used I just worked with what I have. PS my brows might look weird, but don't judge me I am still in the process of learning haha. Also I am having a mini giveaway on my last blogpost if you are interested check it out here. Here is the final look:

Whitening Lightning Color Your Smile Lighted Lip Gloss

Hey guys!!! Have you guys heard of  Jaclyn Hill ?? If not you have been missing out. She does the best make-up tutorials and recently she had a brush set with Sigma which I missed out on cause I couldn't afford it at the time. Then she announced she came out with her own lip gloss through Whitening Lightning and decided to go ahead and get this one even if it was a little pricey, but I saved up money for it. See how pigmented that color is?? This is the color Rose Hill and the website says it is a romantic and feminine hue. It is a beautiful rosy red color and I love it!! This gloss is amazing because first it has a mirror on the side. Just remember to remove the sticker that is on top of the mirror, but I haven't done that yet that's why it looks dirty on the picture. Secondly, when you open this gloss it lights up. So if you need to reapply when you are out and you don't have a mirror and/or you are in a dark place you are covered. Last but n

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99

Pssssst! Instant Dry Shampoo

Hey guys!!! I love love love the Batiste Dry Shampoo , but before I traveled back in October I had ran out and I didn't have time to buy more. I went into a drugstore and the only thing I found was a Pssssst! Instant Dry Shampoo so I decided to go ahead and try it out.  I honestly do not like this dry shampoo, but I don't hate it. This dry shampoo will get the job done. It sucks up all the oils in your hair and it will stay like that till the next day. I hate the smell of it. To me it turns me off to a product if it doesn't smell good. Also a couple days ago I sprayed some in and someone told me that one side of my hair is white. This is definitely a product that you need to brush it out after a few minutes of applying it to your hair. The white cast that it leaves behind also turn me off to this product. Overall this is an okay dry shampoo. I will be going back to Batiste as soon as this is done haha. Have you guys tried this product?? What do you think??
