January 2016 Empties Part 1

Hey guys!!!

Time  to talk about some products that I have used up once again! Also once again I wait too long and I have collected a lot of products so I will separate it into two parts. I will show you what I used up and if I will repurchase or not and why?

  • Batiste Dry Shampoo- I decided to try a different kind of the Batiste Dry Shampoo to see if there is a difference. There honestly is no difference other than the fact the other one I have used is tinted and this one isn't. I still love my Batiste!
  • OAHU Bath & Body Works Body Lotion- I had so many of these body lotions from the last clearance sale I believe that I decided to use them all up. I used up 3 bottles by this point actually I just didn't want to show them all. I do like the lotions, but it is not holy grail status. It is just I love smelling good.
  • La Roche-Posay Toleriane Foaming Cream- This is my everyday twice a day cleanser. So far this has been my favorite cleanser. I did repurchase this product and it is holy grail.
  • R+Co DEATH VALLEY Dry Shampoo- I had never heard of this brand before and when I received it in my Birchbox I was skeptical. I was wrong and fell in love with the product. Maybe one day I will repurchase, but for now I will go the more affordable route.
  • Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Styling Heat Protectant Spray- My holy grail heat protectant spray. This will not leave your hair wet once you spray it and it leaves my hair soft after straightening my hair.I will repurchasing this soon after I am done using the one I am using up now.
  • First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration- My holy grail hand cream. I also started using it on my face whenever I have dry patches. The dryness is gone in a couple of days. I will always continue to repurchase and one day I will buy the big tub rather than the 2 oz one.
  • Yes to Cucumbers Facial Towelettes- My favorite makeup remover wipes ever. You will always and forever see these in my empties. It doesn't burn my face or my eyes. This removes 90% of my face makeup and I also use these to remove swatches.
  • Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder- This was my holy grail powder at the time I used this, but I started using the Translucent Setting Powder and it is a little bit better than this one. I won't repurchase this one, but will keep using the translucent one.
  • ELF Makeup Remover Pen- ELF has been doing amazing with their products and this is one of them. I love to use this when I mess up my wing liner or need to clean my eyeshadow. This is a holy grail product and I already repurchased.
  • Benefit They're Real! Push-Up Liner- I was supposed to do a review on this liner, but it totally slipped my mind. I threw it away after taking these pictures and I was supposed take a picture of the liner by itself, but that is besides the point. I got this for free when I ordered from Sephora online and I was excited to try it. Sadly it was disappointing and it was too dry for me to work it. I tried different ways and nothing worked.
  • Kat Von D Ink Liner- I will be writing a blogpost on this one and as a sneak peak I do enjoy this product.
  • Pixi Natural Brow Duo- My holy grail brow product! I can have bold brows or natural brows with this product. And it holds my brows in place all day. I will repurchase as soon as I use up the brow products I have now.
  • Manna Kadar Cosmetics Lash Primer- Another product I was supposed to review and failed miserably. My quick review is that it did absolutely nothing for my lashes. Products like these make my lashes fall back down so hard and have no hope of staying curled at all. It also said you can wear it overnight and I did, but no difference on my lashes.
  • Perfume Sample- I failed at showing which perfume sample this is and I have made it a goal to use up my samples and save up the ones I love so it could be a future purchase.
  • Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara- My holy grail mascara and it is another product you will always and always see in my empties. My bottom lashes look long and voluminous and lasts all day without running down my cheeks.
That is all I have to show you for now of the products I used up. What have you guys used up recently and will you repurchase or no and why??

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I only started following her

What Are AHA's??

Hey guys!!! AHA's(Alpha Hydroxy Acids) is water-soluble, exfoliates dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, reveals healthy looking skin, and it is suitable for all skin types. It helps stimulate collagen, hydrates the skin, brightens the skin, helps lessen skin texture, helps with acne scars, signs of sun damage, and dark spots. There are different types of AHA's out there.  Glycolic Acid Glycolic acid is the most well known and is used in skin care and is also used by a professional in a chemical peel.  It is either used alone in a skincare product or combined with another AHA ingredients at concentrations of 5% and up. It helps to enhance skin's firmness and resilience while softening signs of sun damage.  The size of this acid allows it to penetrate the uppermost layers of the skin to reveal better looking skin. Also it hydrates the skin, and basically helps the skin retain the natural moisture. Glycolic acid can be derived from sugar cane, but they only use the

What are BHA's??

Hey guys!!! The other day I spoke about AHA's and the different types of AHA's and now it is BHA's.  BHA's(Beta Hydroxy Acids) can get deeper into the pores to remove dead skin cells and excess sebum. It is oil-soluble so it allows it to penetrate deep into the pores and gently breaks up blockages that clogs your pores. That will help with lessening your acne and less visible pores. If you have blackheads, on your nose especially, it can help getting rid of them without damaging your skin like the Biore pore strips do. Also prevents new ones from forming. It could also help with Keratosis Pilaris(KP) in body washes or even body lotions/butters. BHA's are good for all skin types, but especially oily, acne prone skin. Salicylic Acid Salicylic Acid is the most well known out of all of them. It helps reduce acne by exfoliating the skin and keeping the pores clear. It helps with mild acne, blackheads and whiteheads, can help prevent future breakouts.  Tropic Acid, Tret
